Dexter makes a quality knife
This is my second fillet knife from Dexter. I had no issues with the first one just passed it on to another family member. If you need a good knife Dexter is the one to purchase

Worth the price!!!
Used it to filet quite a few fish at the beach and it’s still razor sharp. Even when cutting the heads and tails off bait fish in the sand, it has yet to dull or rust. Quality for an affordable price. Used it on a 65” Blacktip Shark and it cut through its sandpaper skin like butter.

Holding an Edge on numerous Fish!
Bought 4, 3 were gifts to my fishing buddies i went fishing with. So far, so Good. Will wait to see how everyone likes them. If all good, I will rate these 5 Star!

Specifically bought this knife because it was advertised as Made in USA received and on blade says Japan

Would definitely recommend this knife
Had one of these several years, used it regularly cleaning the skin off of fish and other duties around the kitchen. The high carbon steel blade takes and holds an edge well. Recently I knocked it off the fillet table and it landed point down on concrete damaging the tip. So I'm picking up another to replace it. I always hand wash and dry after use, a dishwasher will destroy the blade. Hit it occasionally with a steel to dress the blade. Would definitely recommend this knife!
