Ìt has totally changed my riding comfort

Expensive component, badly designed that doesn't do the job properly.
If you are looking for edging off a few bumps during your ride maybe this helps, but you have to go around with this massive thing under your seat, it's expensive, and the elastomer is very rigid and unresponsive, for £160 they don't even include the cover, you have to buy it for £15! When you go out in the morning at 2-3 degrees C, the "elastomer" becomes a brick and it is like you have a normal rigid tube under your seat.Maybe for a MTB competition this seat could help, but it weighs a ton, so I don't see the point anyway.If you want real comfort during your ride (maybe for your back pain) forget about this huge seat post, you won't get it. I had to mount it, try it, and obviously I can't return it, because it's not in new conditions anymore, it has scratches on the tube and the mounting seat, I'll have to sell it as a second hand.Also the mounting system for the seat is simply atrocious, I think the engineers that designed it were drunk when they conceived it.So I am now left with this incredibly expensive, massive, useless, badly designed piece of metal and rubber that probably I will struggle to resell to somebody. My advice is DON'T BUY IT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR COMFORT! Or to be honest, look somewhere else altogether.I bought for less than half the price of this a SR SUNTOUR New SP12-NCX Suspension Seat Post, which is much smaller, it is incredibly comfortable and responsive, it is adjustable, well built and robust, it includes the cover and also it has a mechanism to mount and adjust the seat that is incredibly easy and effective. I didn't consider it at the beginning because I thought that the more expensive ones were much better, and I was really wrong. Hopefully I'll be able to resell this expensive seat soon and recover part of badly invested money.

Fantastic !!
Bought for my hardtail MTB , which I use mainly for cross country riding , nice well built seat post , easy to install , my weight ? just short of 17 stones , so I did the right thing and bought the extra firm elastomer , recommended for my weight+ gear , found it way to hard giving no suspension feel at all , which was the whole point of buying the post in the first place , so went back to the medium that comes with it found it just right , done a few rides with no problems at all , takes away all the bumps on Gravel, & slightly rougher stuff , including our rubbish roads , if you ride harder than that , a dropper may be where you want to be , quite expensive , but worth it !!

Works as exceptionally well as anticipated
Really does perform wonderfully to smooth out the trail, track or road.Functions to absorb bumps without the “after-bounce” common to some coil spring designs.I’m 240 pounds riding on the EXTRA FIRM model of the buster. With gear n all at the limit.Buster took a while to receive but very glad I waited. Very easy on my bones

Buen producto , servicio mejorable
El producto es conocido y de reconocida utilidad ( todavía no la he utilizado off-road, que es donde más se reconoce su efecticidad)Sin embrago, tardó mucho en llegar y el proveedor no suministra elastomeros de distintas durezas a utilizar en distintas condiciones de carga o ruta. Hay que solventar el problema con otros proveedores que no se encuentran an Amazon.

Simply blown away
I added this to my cross-country mountain bike, a hardtail, and it's such an incredible improvement. It's for comfort, so I can race over roots and rocky roads and have 200% more comfort. This makes riding tracks a joy again.

Surprised at how much of a difference this makes
I put this on my Aventon abound cargo bike not expecting much, but it’s changed the whole experience. Was worried it would bounce or not do anything, but it takes all the shock out of most bumps and makes the ride feel so much smoother. Super easy to install but make sure you tighten the saddle bolt, and then when you think it’s tight enough do it again. My first time it slipped.
