Seem pretty good
I'm giving this 4-Stars for now. I haven't used it a lot, or for a long period of time. However, when I have used it, it has seemed to help. I have noticed that if I use it too much, or use it too aggressively, then it helps "Less". I will update my review after more time goes by.

Better than what your doctor gave you
If you have a broken or sprained finger and you go to the doctor and they give you an aluminum splint with some blue foam in it, go home and order one of these. The aluminum splint is okay, but it does not do a good job of immobilizing your finger. This means that you will hurt your finger anytime you bump the splint into something. This one not only immobilizes the finger nicely, it also provides padding to the finger, and is easily removed if you need to take it off to wash your hands or do anything that the split would interfere with. The aluminum strap inside this splint is very stiff and it takes some good effort to get it bent into a useful shape. Once you do you don't have to worry about it changing shape while you're wearing it (like you do with the one your doctor gave you). One change I would like to see. I would like to be able to easily remove the aluminum strap. As it comes, it's too long and it keeps my wrist from bending forward. That may be desirable for some injuries but for mine it's just an unnecessary restriction

Adequate quality. NOTE: it may not work for you
What do I mean by "it may not work for you" If you have Dupuytren’s contracture and think that this can reverse it, IT WON'T! Talk to your doctor about options. If you think that it will stop the progression, possibly, but probably not.In my case, I had surgery last week. My ring finger had been bent 90 degrees*. After surgery, they put on a cast with a splint that kept the ring and pinky straight. Yesterday, after one week, they removed that and put on a velcro type splint that also keeps those two fingers straight. I didn't like keeping the pinky straight as that could led to the need for therapy afterword to restore the flex to the pinky. So, I wanted this to allow the pinky to flex while keeping my ring finger straight. I wanted to augment the one they gave me a few hours a day, then use the one they gave me the rest of the time. It works okay for that for the two weeks that I need a splint.I was worried that this would be very cheaply constructed. The one they gave me is padded throughout. I was concerned that this would just be straps without any padding. While is definitely is much cheaper quality, it does have adequate padding for the two weeks that I will need it. One problem, though, the splint is very hard to bend to adjust.* if you are wondering how I let it get to 90 degrees, let me explain. For a number of years I had about a 20 degree bend. Last year I suffered a full thickness laceration of my rotator cuff tendon. I started taking 11 grams of collagen to aid in repair and recovery (had rotator cuff surgery in January). After just a couple of weeks of using it,- the bend advanced from 20 degrees to 90 degrees. I didn't even notice until I went to shake someone's hand.

Comfortable, effective, adjustable
The brace is completely adjustable. It's very comfortable. It makes my finger straight when I wake up, instead of bent. Best of all, it can be worn on the back of the hand, so I can still pet my cat!
