Artifacts
Hi, TV fans! I've had this 8K TV for a few weeks so I have a fairly good idea of what it can do. The only thing I don't like about it is that there are some artifacts when you use the motion-smoothing (which on this Samsung TV is called Picture Clarity). I go to Expert Settings and I use custom Picture Clarity. My Blur Reduction is set to maximum, or 10. My Judder Reduction is maximum, or 10. I leave the LED Clear Motion off because ironically, it turns the screen cloudy! And for Noise Reduction, I set it for Auto instead of off.I am a big fan of seeing movies and TV shows in a realistic way. Like real life. I don't like 24p judder. Some people insist on having their movies in the original 24p. I prefer to watch Bruce Willis running through explosions like I was right there. I don't want to see Bruce Willis running like I'm using a flip book and seeing frame by frame. (That's called judder by the way.) The people who love judder hate motion interpolation, so they mockingly call that look the "soap opera effect". I LIKE the soap opera effect. I like my 24 frames per second movies to appear like 30 frames per second. (Like video looks in the USA.)The only disappointment I have is because of some artifacts around the edges of objects that appear closer. For example, imagine 2 people in the front seat of a car driving across a green landscape with grass and trees. The camera is outside the driver's window and you can see the driver closer to you than you see the passenger. Beyond the passenger is the landscape going by in the passenger-side window. The artifacts occur around the edges of the two people because the microchip in this TV is still not fast enough to make the motion of the grass and the trees flawless. That's why there is a fuzzy, distracting area of green around the two relatively still people sitting in the car. I hope that Samsung is reading my review and can work on improving these artifacts. However, I am still very impressed with the Picture Clarity or motion interpolation that this microchip can do. It is better than my Sony XBR-65X850E. By the way, Samsung tells you that the microchip in this TV is the Neural Quantum Processor 8K with 20 neural networks. What Samsung doesn't tell you is where they get this microchip from, but I am pretty sure that it is the new MediaTek Pentonic 2000.Also, I would like to have a button on the tiny remote control that can turn off the picture on the TV so I can listen to the sound with the picture completely off. I can't do that with this Samsung TV. All I can do is turn the brightness down to zero but there is still a lot of light. Also, Samsung doesn't use Google's Android so there are many apps that you will not be able to download onto your Samsung TV like Paramount+. And you can't use Chromecast. There are some limitations which I have described, but the resolution is really good. There's not too much you can watch in 8K, but I'm ready for it! 😀

Used TV. No screws and no manual.
At first the TV looks great, but when you open the box, there ate pieces missing, like the manual, screws, scratches on the remote, white dust on the back of the TV, among other things.I’ll return the TV.Very disappointed at amazon.

8k is the best
This tv comes with a bunch of channels from Samsung Electronics. I had a hell of a time putting it on it’s stand by myself nice remote which has solar recharging and a separate box not physically connected to the tv

Extremely heavy!
We were in the market for a new TV since our old one was failing. Saw this TV was on sale and thought it to be a great upgrade. My problem was, having not read the specs close enough found this TV to be extremely heavy and along with its size almost impossible to carry or mount where we planned. It took three sizeable guys to lift, position and mount this TV up in our fireplace mantle. (Serious effort ) Once mounted it was superb! It took some fussing to learn how to operate it ( since it comes with no instructions). After some playing around with it for several days and getting it to operate with my existing older Bose sound system, we are pretty pleased. The picture with 8K is magnificent! The sound through our older Bose really enhances our viewing.Buyer be aware....this not your normal flat screen TV you can carry around from room to room. Find a area to mount it, get help and get on with it.

Dead Pixels
Excellent picture, feature loaded TV, use it with my firestick exclusively. The built in sound is good, no complaints - however, i noticed what I thought was a bug not moving on the screen. Then it was there again, then is was there for a few days - with the TV off, I thought there was a smudge on the screen, but I could not find it. I played a screen test video from you tube and located a very small area, maybe a 16th x 32nd of an inch left of and slightly above center of the screen. I have to get with the vender - will update the review as necessary.

A love - hate relationship
The picture on this TV is wonderful. I love watching it. If that was the only thing I was rating, I would give it 5 stars easily. However, there are a couple of problems. The biggest one for me is the connection box that sits on the back of the TV on the stand. There is no sturdy attachment method, and consequently it has a tendency to fall off at the most inopportune times. It needs to have some sort of clamp or screws that hold it securely to the TV base. I finally had to use a long velcro strap to hold it in place, but even with that it is not secure. Also, the fact that the power plug at the bottom is not completely secure, especially if the box slips. I spent a long time trying to figure out why the TV was not working one day. My cat had bumped the cord and it looked like it was plugged in, but it was not. The fact that it is hidden under the bottom of the box makes it very difficult to plug or unplug to the TV.The other problem, which is not the fault of Samsung, is that the Philo app (which I use a lot) was very buggy. On my Amazon Fire box, it always worked flawlessly. On the Samsung Smart TV, it was constantly locking up. Philo has improved it after my repeated complaints, but it is still not as reliable as the Amazon Fire. The TV is also VERY heavy. I was very happy that I had purchased "set up" when I ordered it. Even just to move it slightly on the stand is quite a chore. Since I rarely move it, that is not a big problem. All in all, I love this TV. Watching it is a pleasure.

Do not buy
Do not buy, Samsung no longer makes the one connect box so when it craps out like mine just did your left with. Tv that won’t turn on or work period. And apparently this is a known issue. I have had several Samsung tvs - 1 I still own and it is 7 years old with no issues, owned multiple fridges and dishwasher, will be reconsidering any further Samsung purchases.
