Get them
I never thought these would make me so happy. The little things that bring you joy. I worry about walking on ice. My father fell on black ice, broke his hip and died from complications. I don’t want that to happen to me. Recently I wiped out and smashed the back of my skull on the driveway because I didn’t realize what I thought was water was ice. So I bought these. Wow! I walked out to my car across a sheet of glare ice at least half an inch thick without slipping or sliding. I walked all over the backyard over the ice crusted snow without a single misstep. I’m not scared to walk outside in the winter anymore. It’s small but really empowering. And now I’m off to Iceland in February! I’ll update this after the trip but I expect them to be wonderful for winter hiking, etc.Oh, and at first, like another review per I thought I’d been sent two Left sets. Then I realized the L was for Large LOL

Small sized
These cleats are for small footwear. I gave them away after I used them since I wear large stuff

Great product
Well first, I want to say that i was skeptic. I didn't think anything would help me from falling down my muddy hill. These things are fantastic! When the package first arrived i received then rolled up in a ball spikes in. Which is a great idea! Second, I ordered to the size of my shoe and they fit perfectly. They are stretchy and snug. My only tip is if you have wood floors, put these bad boys on after you step outside because they will leave marks on your floors. OK, let's muster up some courage to face the muddy hill of doom. They do their job! Slippery mud on the ground and I'm still on my feet. The only advice I have if it's just a sloppy mess these will not help. The cleats must have a little firmness to dig into dirt to work.

Perfect traction even on the WORST ice
We live on a small farm and our house is uphill from the barn with our animals. I also help with chores at the barn where I keep my horses. We're in Michigan and, for a lot of January-March the ice is just awful. Wearing these, I had such great traction that it felt like I was walking on bare dirt and not the slippery, smooth ice that's covering everything right now.I loved these so much that I bought a pair for the lady who runs my barn too.Two comments:1. These are only good for round or squared toes. If you have boots with pointier toes, these won't stay on.2. They go on easy but can come off the boot sometimes. Not often. Just make sure you buy the right size

The best I’ve found
Purchased for use while walking my dog and doing snow removal. This is the 3rd style I’ve purchased and by far the most durable. My first set were like these but only had teeth on the front half of the foot. I bought a more chain based set the next year, the chains broke and links were lost. This set survived the whole winter without problem and has teeth under the whole foot. By far the best I’ve experienced and will highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase. Even with a 90# dog pulling me, these guys held a tight grip with the ground.

Spikes much smaller than pictured and most covered in rubber
The Spikes are much smaller than pictured which is disappointing! Most of them are covered in rubber which is a pain to cut off. Not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or what. Size XL is kind of small but they’re good and stretchy. Haven’t used them yet…

Absolute must have in snow/ice!
I moved to the mid west over 20 years ago. For the past 15 years, people have been telling me to purchase ice cleats. I never did. I can't tell you how many times I fell on the dang ice! Well, this year, I knew i would be walking more in the city, so I purchased a pair. They are easy to go on and take off your shoes/boots. It took a minute for me to feel comfortable in them and not feel like I would fall on the ice! 100% happy I finally bought a pair of ice cleats! I can walk slow, or fast, and feel confident that I will not slip or fall! Walking on dry pavement or concrete is not comfortable though. I feel like I am going to break the tips! This brand so far is very durable! I wear a size 9 bearclaw boot, and the Large fits perfectly. I also bought an XL because I thought the large wasn't the right fit, because when I walk, the position of the heel cleats are a little uncomfortable for me (I have planters fasciitis), but the XL would slide off on one of my boots--that being said, the material on the one was a little stretched out in the width. But, I kept them for a back up pair.
