Purchaed May 2022....2 1/2 years later
After 2 1/2 years this was an easy 5-star rating. This ironing board has been a constant workhorse in our home and we love it . The reason I am here today is I need to order a new cover. If there was a back-up cover I forget where it is so going to buy a new high quality cover. The width of this ironing board is what sets it apart...it's great for ironing large pieces like a table cloth. This product is a WINNER and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very stable and solid.x.
I had to change my review because it wasn't fair with the item and also with the customers who read these reviews before buying. When I received the iron board I don't really know what happened that it was unstable, I just believe that it was my fault somehow for this malfunction due to maybe a mistake when I opened it. Since that day it's working perfectly fine, so it looks that it was my mistake. This iron board is super stable, firm and solid. My only problem is with the cushion pad that doesn't have cushion at all even if you used both covers at the same time. You can feel the metal mesh underneath. I just made a new pad myself and I solved the problem. I have to tell this is the best iron board I ever had.

Very stable and mostly worth the money.
I sew for fun -- mostly quilts -- and a good ironing board is essential In the past ten years I've bought a number, only to replace them within a few months. They were wobbly, didn't have many height adjustments, weren't level, or hadnother attribute that made them unacceptable. The worst of all was an ironing board that collapsed because the legs had rusted away after less than six months of use! Really? Ironing boards should be able to withstand water and steam, but this gem couldn't.I finally gave up and bought an ironing board that was far more expensive than I thought I should have to pay, but this has held up very well after a year. It has the height flexibility I need and is very stable. So, despite a couple of fairly minor concerns, yes, I would buy this again if I ever need to replace it.I would greatly prefer a solid-color cover, but that seems unlikely. It is heavier than I'm used to and awkward to fold up and move. But I expect that one of the reasons that it's so sturdy is that it is not light weight. I guess I'll just have to live with that. All in all, a very good ironing board and I would happily buy it again

Fantastic Ironing Board When we started looking for a ...
Fantastic Ironing Board! When we started looking for a new ironing board, we knew that we needed an iron board that has the following attributes- Longer work surface- Extra wide legs- Opens and closes effortlessly- Stable- Light weight- Stands taller- Well PaddedWe knew that we didn't want to purchase a cheap one from WalMart since they are too often more trouble than they are worth so we knew we wanted an ironing board that could easily operate without bending over while working on it.Since our new iron board was very well packed with thick plastic cover and was placed in a box, it arrived without any damage. One of the most important attributes of this product that I like is that I'm 6’1 so I can now iron without leaning over. It's also completely stable, so I don't have to worry about the iron falling to the floor and damaging the floor. It definitely has a longer work surface and is still rock-solid due to its extra-wide legs, and it’s very easy to open and close. Its extra-wide legs have white rubber caps on the ends; therefore, it doesn’t slip on hardwood floors and/or tiles. We are very pleased with this ironing board and would definitely recommend it.

Terrible Ironing Board
Wobbly out of the box. Doesn’t collapse completely flat. Length slightly too short .I would tolerate any 1 of those things. But all together… save your money.I got LESS than I paid for.

Excellent customer service
The ironing board was purchased over a year ago. Unfortunately the washer and hex nut that held the folding legs together fell off. As I could not find the same at a hardware store I contacted the customer service an asked them for the parts. Received four of these replacement parts, shipped International Priority from Turkey. Really appreciate the great customer service, and it is a pleasure to do do business with Mabel Home. Except for the washer an hex nut incident the board is very high quality and has held up well.

It's a wobbler with quality issues
It's an OK ironing board with some quality issues. Ours wobbles on a perfectly flat wood floor. Wife decided to keep it anyway as she uses it in a carpeted bedroom where the carpet compensates for some (but not all) of the wobble. The welds on the T-legs are rough and ugly. Found a sharp edge at the bottom of one of the tubes that comes down toward the floor and is welded with the leg to form a "T".Another area of concern is the metal mesh under the ironing board cover. The flat mesh is not stiff and gives under ironing pressure and will deform after some use. This will eventually create a concave ironing surface along the length of what should be a perfectly flat ironing board. We paid $55 for this ironing board but will probably end up seeking out another one soon. Does ANYONE make a decent ironing board these days? It seems that everything we buy is border line junk compared to the old stuff our parents and grandparents had access to.

LOVE IT!!!
The Ironing board arrived on time, the box was a little beaten up, (a bit on the thin side for the product it carried), but no harm done to the board. It was easy to set up, it is heavy enough that I won't have to fight it to keep it up right. It is solid and very stable. (no wobble at all). The pad is beautiful and the padding thick, and well fitted. (I don't feel like I am ironing on the metal grids.) I do wish the iron holder would fold away but that is not a real issue I also wish the release bar was on the other side than what it is but again not a real issue it is just something I am use to but I can adjust. So really nothing bad to say about this board. It is well worth the money, no regrets of this purchase and I would recommend it to family and friends, anyone looking for a great ironing board really, in a heartbeat.
