Thank you for asking if the product is RSPO certified. Sorry to tell you but RSPO is another propaganda put in place to make buying red palm oil acceptable without fully knowing how and where the product comes from. Just imagine how difficult it would be for a small scale farmer in a small village in Africa that solely harvest red palm fruit in their villages to have access to a round table in the west to join or get certified as RSPO. Juka will make a new video to address the question of RSPO and the accessibility and the amount of money it can cost to join and maintain it. Another question we have had about our product is, if it is organic certified. Did you know the closest organic certifying agent to Africa is in Belgium. One would have to pay not only the fee of the certification but also pay for an air ticket & hotel for the agent to certify the palm trees as organic. Remember, red palm oil originates from Africa, the trees in these villages have been there for centuries. All these certifications should be made accessible to African farmers in small villages especially when it comes to products that originates from Africa. We hope we have help answer your question. Thank you for your interest in our product. Yes, this is the same as dende oil that is use in Brazil. Red Palm oil's continent of origin is West Africa, this is where you can find the most authentic red palm oil.

Does red palm oil sometimes have a dark brown color at the bottom of the jar?

If the red palm oil is extracted from the fruit the traditional way (unrefined & unprocessed) without using machineries, yes it can have a little bit of dark color from the pulp of the fruit. E.g if you make your orange juice from fresh oranges without using industrial machineries to refine or filter the juice, most likely you will have some pulp in the orange juice.
