I used for makeshift repair on a Jackson
My son was given an old Jackson V with a missing bridge. Treaded holes were in the guitar, so I did not want to change what was there. These pins fit into the exiting holes and pressure from strings holds the bridge in place. All in all I was happy to use this as a cheap alternative to make guitar a playable practice instrument.

Requires some clever luthier work
This bridge required some improvisational frugal luthier work. The following account is not for the squeamish:After pulling out the tune-o-matic bridge nuts I filled the holes by glueing in a pair of wooden dowels, then drilled new holes for the roller bridge nuts & tapped them in. The bridge posts are like a layer cake & the bridge sat way too too high on them, so...I bought a threaded #8-32 rod, cut off two pieces, secured them all the way down in the bridge nuts with hot glue, and dropped two washers on each post as a spacer to clear the pickguard. Dropped in the bridge, intonated & tuned it up, and now it works and feels great. The action is just right. In fact, now D’Addario XLs are too light so a heavier string guage is in order. There’s a disclaimer on the listing that the measurements might be different than the original so I’ll give them that. We were warned ;)

For this price, why not use a roller bridge?
This is a great product that not only adds additional room for intonation, but makes spacing between strings possible. All while getting rid of that knife edge bridge piece that leads to broken strings...plus the added rounded area of the roller bridge gives better tones.

not a replacement for a les paul
much smaller posts than a les paul. the rollers can't be adjusted after strings have been installed.

Works great for bigsby style application
Used with a bigsby trem and reduced binding of the strings dramatically
