I bought this choke to try and tighten up the grouping on a 20” bullpup barrel, and at 15 yards it did just that. With the factory full choke on a Garaysar Fear-105, I had 9 pellet 00-buckshot spreading about a 13” pattern. The Carlson Coyote choke brought it down to roughly a 8”-9” pattern. I’m really impressed by the improvement. This shotgun is not meant for distance shooting, so I’d expect a longer barrel would really benefit from the tighter grouping.

Very effective choke, I tested it against 3 others with 2 different types of ammo, and this choke with the LBXR 3” 4 shot blasted the competition from 40-70 yards, and I mean was smoking at 70 yards.

First, I don't know where they get 70 yards from, but using #4 buckshot (lead) out of my weatherby PA-08 pump 12-ga shotgun, I can only put 3-4 holes in 2' x 2' target at 45 yards. None at 70. Not an issue of shot placement, went through multiple rounds. But you definitely need something like this to restrict the buckshot for longer range. Haven't tried other choke tubes for coyotes to see if this is a common problem. Second, the first one I bought off Amazon had a skirt that was too short. (Skirt is the part below the choke tube threads that matches up to the grooved carve-out inside the barrel.) I called Carlson's direct, and they sent one with the right length (got 3/16", needed 1/4"). But the good parts are: nice fit, looks great, ported tubes control recoil and noise a bit, easy on/off.
