Although I started lifting weights in high school, I never used a chest expander, primarily because the springs were a real hazard with pinching. Now, decades later, these rubber tube expanders are on the market and remove the problem of pinching.This unit is pretty solid and the price was good. You can remove the bands to change the tension. The thing to remember is to balance the location, e.g. two tubes would be the top and bottom slots, for 3 tubes add one in the middle.I got this primarily as a light exercise for rotator cuffs and it is working fine. When I started, I had to drop it to two tubes. Over time, I have moved it up to 4 tubes.As I say, I got it because the spring ones were always a problem for me.The rubber tubes work for me.

The product I just wanted wanted. It was great for exercise. The rubber cords can be added and removed to create the right resistance. The problem I found was with the instructions. It was difficult to remove the cover to add and remove cords without knowing how to do it. If you turn the handle upside down and look at the bottom, the orange plastic can be seen. You pull the orange piece to the side and back to remove the cover so you can add and remove cords.

It isn't necessary to use the orange capture caps for the tubes. The tubes will not come out of the handles. By not replacing the orange caps one can do a drop set quickly by removing one band.The UEASY is inexpensive and has several different resistance tubes to choose from depending on the bands. UEASY should consider selling band sets and some bands with a shorter length for those who want resistance to begin sooner and who also have shorter arms. The inside of the handles of my steel cable expander are about twenty-one inches apart. The inside of the UEASY expander's handles are about twenty-four inches apart.Although it would increase the price of the UEASY expander, UEASY should offer a model that has rotating handles. Even the expanders sold by Sandow had rotating handles. This would allow the user to do certain exercises such as reverse curls without developing a blister on their hands. Sandow utilized cables in many ways. If UEASY were to offer quality rotating handles and band packages of different resistances and lengths that could be inexpensively purchased, I believe that the company would find quite an increase in profits. Over time the bands lose some resistance. Offering band packages would be beneficial to customers. The handles would be the expensive part of an upgraded expander and the tubes could be purchased as sets. I have five heavy springs for my steel cable expander and three medium resistance springs. When doing drop sets I have changed the center heavy spring to a medium spring followed by using two medium springs with three heavy springs. This can be done quickly with the SAFE-T-HANDLE brand handles.A video by an expert showing just how effective chest expanders can be as part of a package would be helpful--hint--hint.UEASY, you can send my check for those ideas in the mail! Yeah, this is exactly what I was expecting. This does not hurt as with the spring counterpart and it is easy to use and store. Adjustable tension too if you want to remove some of the bands. Very convenient especially when travelling.

Very good quality. The cabs holding the bands in place was difficult to remove so I just left it off afterward seems like very good. Quality has lasted for at least a year now I wish the handles were a little larger to be able to get your foot inside one for doing vertical exercises.

First of all, I like the easy use of the item and the safety aspect of its construction. The bands appear to made of strong and reliable rubber which should provide for long use.
