My daughter has oily hair, so I found this product to help. It's surprisingly hard to find shampoo for oily hair.This works great. Her hair is still soft and manageable, but a lot less oily. I use it when my hair is feeling too built-up BBC instead of neutrogena. It doesn't strip my hair as badly, smells better and leaves my hair softer.I've already have a backup. If you have oily or build up from too much product, this shampoo gently strips the hair. It has a great smell, and the conditioner does a good job providing a nice, light soft feel to hair.

I tried this brand after trying another kind while visiting a friend. I always thought it seemed overpriced, but I fell in love with the scent of the mint and tea tree kind. I was thinking that my curly hair was getting flat during quarentine, most likely due to being too long without a haircut, but I figured trying a clarifying shampoo and conditioner set could possibly help. I get complimented on the smell, and it works well for clarifying, shampooing, and conditioning!

This stuff works so well!! It cleaned my hair and left it feeling light and soft. It felt like all the build up had been removed! I tried it on my sons hair also since he uses gel and hairspray more than me. His hair was soooo soft afterwards! I was told my hair smells good also! It is more of a minty smell or like a men's Cologne but it's not an overpowering smell.

Ordered this because HASK has discontinued their Charcoal Citrus shampoo and conditioner. This is simply a basic shampoo that does not work well for thin hair. It cleans, but does not remove buildup on the scalp.

One thing I've always appreciated about OGX is that their products work for every hair type. I have mostly 4b/4c hair, and it worked great. My scalp felt clean, I could feel it breathe. The shampoo didn't dry my hair out, which is usually what happens with clarifying shampoo. My hair did get tangled, but that's where the conditioner comes in. The conditioner didn't quite moisturize my hair (which was okay because the shampoo didn't really dry it out to begin with), but it's gave my hair LOTS of slip! As soon as I apply the conditioner, the tangles were gone and I could easily run my fingers through my hair. So if you're looking for a decent clarifying shampoo and conditioner that's cheap, invest in this. I recommend moisturizing your hair after this, maybe even doing a deep condition if you have time.

I've been using this product for quite a while and love it. I use the shampoo version of this along with the conditioner. I use once a week - shampoo removes all hair product used through the week and the conditioner after shampoo leaves my hair soft and shiny.
