Great Home Theatre PC remote
Well made. Offer a range of Windows keyboard shortcuts which make controlling a Windows computer much easier than the standard Android airmouse. Airmouse works very well. Keyboard good with a wide range of options. Needs 2 AA cells not included. Not perfect but the best of the bunch. Recommended.

Great, but a few changes would make it perfect
I've never used an air-mouse until now, and I'm very impressed with how well it works, It is incredibly precise just using gyroscopes and accelerometers, you can easily highlight just one letter and change it, you don't even have to point it right at the screen, it'll even work under a blanket, (when using RF, not IR) since it uses radio frequency, so you can just get in a position that's comfortable, and it'll figure out how you want the mouse to move.I'm writing this review with it, and though I wouldn't want to write an essay this way, that's not what it's for, and I appreciate the compact but functional layout. I'm sure I'll get used to it with time. There are some great choices on the mouse-side for shortcuts, power off/on, left/right-click, close window, volume, pause/RW/FF, show all open windows, ESC, show desktop, back (etc) and it feels like they have been chosen thoughtfully, and you can always use other shortcuts on the keyboard with the Ctrl key.I think the choice of which buttons to have a "navigation bump" on to help with orientation are a bit odd, I'd have chosen activate mouse, left and right click, play/pause and close, but not a big deal. A CAPS ON warning light would be nice though..The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that it would be perfect with the inclusion of a small scroll-wheel/bar on the mouse-side (or physical side), as currently you either push the arrows by the ok button on the mouse-side, which deactivates the mouse, (there's probably a reason but I can't figure it out), or use the scroll bar on the window, which I haven't used for years!Though when you turn the device over from keyboard to mouse, the mouse is already activated. Nevertheless, at least a page-up/down on the mouse side would be nice.Oh and if you're using a UK layout version of Windows, the @ and " keys are probably swapped, so look out for that (also, no obvious pound sign that I can find). Will update RE battery use if I remember, glad it uses standard AAA batteries! So yeah, all in all, it's pretty good, but not perfect.

Mildly flawed but fantastic
I would mark this down one star due to a few minor issues but for what it is it's a very cool item for anyone using a PC for media use.The position of the cursor needs a lot of recalibration but it's easy enough and you get used to it in very little time. I don't see that as a flaw specifically, more an unfortunate part of using this kind of "wiimote" style tech using gyroscopes. They often need reminding where the screen as soon as you move the remote beyond the screen limits. The build quality and appearance is just pure class, it feels like a decent solid remote control and has some very handy shortcut keys (just be careful of the power button!, I wish they'd make it harder to press). The buttons lights up nicely and transition between front remote and rear keyboard is seamless.Battery life is good for what it is, rechargeable would be preferable so hopefully one day that will happen.Highly recommended.
