Not what I was looking for, but what i needed to find
This has become probably my favorite water based pomade. I use Layrite to start out and top it off with this for the shine and hold but honestly I may eventually go back to just this. There is no tug going in compared to oil based. If your hair is damp, you won't get much hold at first. Don't worry, get just a little more on your hands and as it dries just a little over the course of a few seconds you will notice the hold develop. At that point the more you add the stronger the hold and shinier it will be. Wasn't a fan at first but after comparing this to some other water based and not, and trying it out for a few months, I think I've found maybe not what I was looking for, but what i needed to find.The hold is great for a pomade that washes out so easily. Just can't touch it too much or it loses the shine. Not the hold tho. Sometimes I like that matte yet controlled look you can get with this. I don't do a pomp, just use my fingers to brush my thick wavy hair to the side and couldn't be happier with how helpful this pomade is as I let my hair grow out.

What Happens In The Can
5 ⭐️ for now but 4.8 for the ride. What happen to the can MAN! My shine can smashed like it been in a 2 car wreck on the 405 at rush hour! Smell , hold matte all that! No doubt others out there might be good stuff but right now this is it! I can dig it!

This pomade is all I was looking for, coconut smell my wife love it. For real psycho hold. Best pomade for hair for real keep on the great job.

It held my hair right away, but not for long
The product does hold and put your hair together, right away but for me (maybe because of my hair type) the gel did not hold my hair in place for even over 5 hours.

Doesn’t smell manly
I use this for my hair since I got it cut really short. It was recommended by my barber shop. It has virtually no smell and really does the job.

Ouch!
This will literally rip your hair out while trying to spread it throughout your hair. I keep my hair a little longer on top and slick it back on the side. If you try to do anything but slick your hair straight back this is not the product for you. It is not malleable enough and it leaves your hair sticking up like big bird no matter how you try to style it (comb over for me) - this stuff is like super glue. FYI.

Love this product, it is one of the best pomades i have tried. Very easy to get rid of if you out a little too much in, just run some water through your hair. Lightweight with a strong hold.
