Really heavy, solid construction. Easy to change combo and no special key or tools required, unlike other such locks. Wheels turn easily and only in one direction for easier use in low light. I got this after I wasted my money on a bluetooth combination lock. The bluetooth lock was worthless because you needed a phone app to open the lock. I liked the temporary code function so that I could have someone else able to unlock and access the contents. It didn't allow me to pick a combination, had no zero, used so many digits that you had to send the code to the person who was to be able to unlock it also. Then, it didn't work, the only way I could open the lock was with the app.I ordered this padlock to solve the problem with the other bluetooth lock. This lock is strong and heavy, allowing you to pick a 4 digit code and has the zero too. I don't have to use my phone at all which is much better for my needs.

I did not realize how big these were until they arrived and these things are HEAVY. I honestly believe them when they say these will deter thieves as I wouldnt want to bother with it either. I do have a complaint about the rubber cover for the combination lock though. It is only held on by two small rubber nipples that are very flexible so if you open the rubber cover too much, it will just fall off. Depending on how often you use the lock, this may or may not be annoying. The locking mechanism feels very rigid and operates smoothly with a very satisfying click. The dials for the combination work effortlessly and have a luxurious feel to them

Easy! These locks are very good and very easy to use. I put these on our ranch gates. I bought one over a year ago and it sits in the hot, dry west Texas country without lub. It is hefty and the numbers still spin. Numbers are easier to tumble by the design as they sit further than the 20yr old tumbler master lock I replaced. I bought several more for the other gates!Changing the code is super simple and I will not need to find a key or that rod U thing. Everything you need is in the lock!The only strange thing is that you line up your numbers at the top … not the middle or bottom. If you have 0 in the middle, 9 would be on the top and 1 at the bottom cause you only see three numbers per spindle at a time. The number that will count will be the 9. Took folks a bit to figure that out so I used a labler to say, “use top #”. I figure that if that isn’t a good enough clue … they probably don’t have enough “country” sense and will be a liability for me.

This is a fantastic lock. It's heavy duty. The tumblers move relatively easily and it locks and unlocks perfectly. The rubber door on the bottom, that helps to protect it from the elements, stays put, it doesn't fall out. I wish I would have bought this years ago! So far, not one sign of rust or corrosion. One less key to carry around.

I have had the same lock as this one for 9 years and it's always been greatRecently it failed and I ordered the exact same one and what I received was an empty bag sealed shut with my label address on itAmazon took care of me but the point that I didn't like is that they contacted the company within this interaction and the company said that they knew that they packed it and I found that to be irritating at the very least like they remember packing my specific orderAnnoying as that was I ordered another lock Amazon gave me no problem it arrived the next morning when I took it apart or tried to take it apart the combination that they send with it that was sealed inside the package didn't workNow I'm pissed because I have a lock that doesn't work and a shed that's not locked I think from now on I'm going to buy something else from a physical store because items like this you want to work to secure your itemsAs far as the lock goes it's extremely sturdy the size is decent the weight is Hefty in your hand I like the lock that's why I tried ordering it both times it's the company that I have a problem with or whoever runs the Amazon storeMoving forward I will purposely choose a different company when I buy my lock which maybe they don't care if I'm buying one lock every 8 years but when everyone stops that might matter.

Perfect size and has water resist plastic rubber cover where the lock is. This is the main reason why I got it besides number lock. Build feels sturdy and heavy. Only time will tell and sunny weather. I actually like the bronze/gold look which does have ridges on each side to handle and move the lock with out slipping. Instruction is easy to reprogram just don’t forget the passcode. I like the fact it doesn’t need a key and you don’t have to carry anything. I used it for my shed and sometimes bike lock and works wonder.
