Best in class inline fans BY FAR. Half the volume of the competition in real world usage, with the same cfm. Unmatched Warranty
WOW. This is one EXCEPTIONAL inline fan. does it cost more than the competition, a tad yes, but with a ten year warranty no other company can TOUCH this. Also, though this has no effect on it functionally, it is a beautiful fan. This will allow me the giant sized "computer rig" setup im looking for visually in my grow facility. I purchased two and both were exactly as advertised.PROS:Build quality is outstandingAttention to detail in function and form (something as little as a rubber grommet around the duct joint may not seem big, but it is HUGE for stability and vibration)Small fan, BIG airImpossibly quiet! a db meter may tell you otherwise but in real world usage, with insulated ducting, this thing is whisper quiet.warranty is nearly 10 times as long as most of the competition.CONS:Cord Location. Really that's it, and it isn't a big deal, but with the fan setup like its pictured on its product page, the cord comes straight out of the top. the dampener is to be put vertically centered...doing this is simple to rotate the mount, but makes the cord come out the top instead of the bottom..no biggie but makes it a tad hard to hide the cord in exposed setups (which shouldnt matter if you arent an anal grandmaster grower)CONCLUSION:If you are wondering whether this fan is the one for you, all i can say is.."is it an s series atmosphere fan? then HELL YES". I am what most would consider an expert when it comes to growing and the new technology that's come in the last few short years has made growing not only fun, but "techie"..now i can nerd out with computer controlled LEDS, WIFI temperature sensing with ip look up, temperature and humidity control i could only DREAM of 5-ten years ago all accessible from my phone or tablet or laptop or desktop. Long story short,,, the ladies are spoiled and beyond happy, in part because of these beautiful fans..dont hesitate to purchase these.p.s. the seller was fantastic and FAST. :) ill update the functionality of these bad boys in 6 months.

Great Fan for over 5 years.
I’ve had it for multiple years and it still runs perfectly. The auto shut off feature has been wonderful as well since I’ve had some cloth string get in there and it turned itself off to prevent a fire.

Perfect Setup for a Smoking Room!
I installed the Vortex 347 CFM S Line S-600 Fan, 6" along with the YaeCCC Variac Auto Transformer AC Variable Voltage Regulator Metered (500W) and Hon&Guan ABS Air Vent Cover 6 Inch Wall Mount Grille Exhaust Outlet White in the Smoking Room/Office in my home. I connected it to a 6 inch portable air conditioner exhaust hose and vent it out the window. I dialed back the Variac to 60 volts and keep the fan running 24 x 7.My Smoking Room/Office is very Spartan. It has hardwood floors, desk, computer, monitor, office chairs and various support equipment to run an office which causes the room to echo a little bit.The DBA level I’ve recorded is approximately 50 DBA (Normal conversation is 70 DBA so that gives you some reference to the amount of noise it makes). If I installed carpet (which I won’t) I’m sure the DBA level would drop to under 40 DBA which is very quiet for a fan moving the amount of air it does. I use a Blue Parrot noise canceling headset when I work so the party on the other end doesn’t hear any background noise.Due to the negative pressure in the room I leave the door open by a few inches to let the fan do its job. I never smell any smoke in the rest of my home and a few hours after leaving the room I can hardly smell any smoke. 24 hours later I can’t tell anyone has been smoking in it.Note: I smoke cigars and they can really stink up a room so that’s saying a lot for this fan.All in all I’m very happy with the unit. 10 year warranty, running 24 x 7 it does exactly what I need.

slim design and good name VORTEX
I think lot of people like me will be attracted by this slim design and good name VORTEX, I bought one 4 year ago, first of all , it had loud noise, about 60 db I measured, secondly, I found the metal clips on its impeller , please see picture. I did not return it because I thought it was normal. now, the mounting bracket belt snapped after several times using( four times a year). lucky me, it has 10 years warranty in manual. I contacted with the customer service today, it turns out you should return this machine to Canada by your own cost over 100 dollars to do RMA, also the mount bracket did not includes in warranty, you have to buy it. the customer sevice was very patient, but I have to pay the price on the wrong product I chose. hope you not.

Good design, easy to install, good price, high quality.
Still a bit noisy but was easy to install and appears to be very sturdy in materials and design. It was much easier installing into a tent with one person than Can Fans or MaxFans because of the mounting bracket design.Only had it for one day but looks like it will hold up well and do exactly what I needed it for. Really happy with the 10 year warranty offered with it.The price was right in line with other fans of similar designs like max fans but with more features. This fan has a built in damper and is insulated to control the noise. Much quieter than Max Fans.I will write an update if anything changes but I doubt it will. I’ve had one of their cheaper metal case fans for more than 10 years and I have had zero issues with it.

Great fan but not for homebrewing
I’ll start by saying this seems like a great fan. Build quality is great, quiet, and the included bracket makes it super easy to install and take the fan off without having to remove any of the ductwork. For my application (homebrewing) this fan didn’t work out. Had issues with condensation build up and dripping from multiple areas of the fan housing. Not surprised to have condensation but due to the housing I wasn’t able to seal and drain off the condensation from one specific area. Going to go with the VTX600 vortex fan as others have been successful in draining off the condensation.
