If you're on the fence, go for it!
I ordered this to when my family decided that we needed to give turkey frying a try for Thanksgiving this year. After it arrived we decided that we really needed to do a test fry with it to be sure we knew how to operate it when turkey day arrived. Not wanting to fork out a lot of money for a turkey, we decided on chicken. But, first things first. Out of the box it was really simple to put together. Really, all that needed to be done was attach the burner to the stand and then attach the gas line and put AAA batteries in the safety device. I know a lot of people have complained about the safety device, but really, I didn't find it to be a big deal. I just set the timer on my phone to be sure and check it every 10 minutes or so. We stayed right by the fryer anyway, so it was really not a big deal. So, on to the chicken. We injected the chicken with a creole butter marinade we purchased at the grocery store. Then, put the chicken on the hook and gently lowered it down into the hot oil. Following the 8 minutes per pound rule, the chicken was done in about 35 minutes. Everyone said this was the best chicken they had ever eaten. The skin was perfectly crispy and extremely tasty. The meat was tender and juicy. My brother was simply amazed and asked me to come back the next weekend and teach him how to use it. We have also fried chicken wings as well as french fries in it. Everyone agrees, it's pretty amazing and super easy to operate. The large pot has a fill line which makes it easy to not overfill. when we fry the turkey, next week, we'll put the turkey in and fill with water to be sure we're not using too much oil.

Good budget cooker / apparatus for people looking to fry food or do a low country boil.
All items arrived in good condition. I get that some people had an item arrive in less than stellar condition, but I dont see the big deal. The vast majority of pictures showing damage are trivial and dont impact the ability of the pot(s) or apparatus to actually cook. Also people - all of these items are made of aluminum. If you want something sturdy then you need to pay sturdy money.Anyway rant over. The entire package is put together very well, the burner and rig are all welded very nicely and machined very well. I bought this to do a low country boil for my MIL on her bday and we filled the pot completely, so much so that when we squeezed the shrimp in the additional water boil caused the lid to rise. I havent fried anything in it yet but I will be frying a large amount of chicken one day soon.My only "gripe" and I cant really call it that because its a safety feature, is the 15 minute time limit on the burner passthrough. I can understand the reasoning especially from a liability and insurance stance but I still dont understand what they expect you to be able to cook in 15 minutes. I guess its there to make sure that someone is present and paying attention to the cooking. Anyway, its very easy to bypass, I wont tell you how specifically but Google & YT are your friend.

Great cooker well built.
I have used this cooker a few times cooking Sweet corn and seemed to work great even in windy conditions. Worked better than my parents cooker that they picked up from a local store. Seems to be well built stand and burner also sturdy so no worries about getting top heavy or anything. Would recommend this to other people but the down side to this cooker is the timer which I figured out a way to eliminate it.(Do this before hooking up to propane) Using a vice and some wrenches used a lighter and warmed up connections on both sides of the timer just enough to soften the glue/thread sealant but not hot enough to melt the metal, then before it cools back down unscrewed the connections next I found that the regulator is 1/8 pipe but was un able to find any fittings to fit on the hose end but what I figured out is that a 8mm fine thread nut screws on and is pretty close to matching up. I got 2 brass fittings one 1/8 male to 1/4 female adapter fitting, one 1/4 plug and a 8mm fine thread tap. I then drilled the plug out in center all the way through per tap instructions and tapped the plug. I then put thread sealant tape on all threads and screwed everything together. Do to not being on the tank side of regulator it IS NOT high pressure but double check for leaks with soapy water first time using it.

Nice Deep Fryer for the price!!
I chose this model due to the reviews & I wasn't disappointed! I arrived well packed without any damage; that was a concern as a few reviews had issues with damages. Very easy to assemble, except for the nylon lock-nut that is supplied to secure the "Metal Fusion" Main Burner. There is a bolt through the burner and a "jam-nut" to secure that bolt to the burner; the nylon Lock-nut is supposed to secure the burner & heat shield to the stand. But the Nylon lock-nut was completely useless as it is way to small(not enough threads to hold on the bolt). Also, because of the design of the stand, the Jam-nut puts the burner at a position of a slight angle. But after my assembly, I used the small Pot & Basket to deep fry 5 pounds of chicken wings. I worked Great! This is the main reason I purchased this item! I think the only thing is the pots could be heavier gauge Aluminum. Not sure about how long they will last, as one use & 3 heavy burn marks on the bottom. I guess I can always invest in stainless pots!
