works good
I use this or other silicone grease on a lot of stuff. pretty much anywhere i would have used a liquid oil i like to use this instead because it lasts longer and can even be used on rubber rings without having to worry about breakdown.

Avoid corrosion on lead-acid battery terminals
The trolling motor batteries on my boat started forming a white lead-oxide layer within a few weeks of use/storage. I cleaned it off and applied this anti-corrosion lube on the terminals, effectively sealing them and preventing corrosion. It works great!

It works for now.
This may be a wonderful product, but that remains to be seen. The docs say it has a shelf life of 5 years. If it only lasts 5 years in the tube, how long is it going to last in a connector?I wish I knew.I asked the manufacturer, and got a reply asserting that "we cannot give a “useful” life" and I should monitor and replace as needed.Methinks Synco Chemicals has a few too many lawyers.I can at least say that it will work correctly for a month when exposed to constant POE+ voltages, and the video from the camera I am using it with has been rock steady.Synco loses a star for their lack of confidence in their product's performance.

Great dielectric grease for old game console cartridge connectors
I've been using Super Lube Anti-Corrosion Grease as a dielectric (non-conductive) connector grease since I first discovered it in the early 1990s. It was great for use in fixing up old S100 industrial bus systems, greasing card-edge connectors, and fixing difficult ISA and EISA slots in servers. It is a fine grease that slides into the slots easily and spreads well. It also seems to last for a lot longer than other greases I've tried. This review may read a bit like an ad, but I honestly just love using this grease. One of my hobbies is collecting old game consoles from my childhood and I also have a couple Hyperkin retro-gaming units. The cartridge slots on many of these units tend to rust and can be difficult to clean. Once cleaned, they may sit around for a while and will just rust right up again. A good dielectric grease like Super Lube really comes in handy for maintaining the connectors in old consoles. On the Hyperkin units, the cartridge slots are very tight when you get them and can be damaged with the use of excessive force. Greasing up the slots makes the cartridges slide in and out with relative ease.I use this grease for things around the house as well, and I keep a mini-oiler of Super Lube handy in my tool bag for "emergencies". On squeaky door hinges, for example, it can last for several years and never gets sticky or gloopy. I use it on hand tools and electric tools without worry.I have never had it damage any plastics it has come in contact with, but it can be difficult to wipe off a surface though because it smears and spreads so easily. You can use it to lubricate almost anything made of plastic or metal, so I'm always finding things to use it on. Synco has a great set of compatibility charts on their website [super-lube.com] if you are concerned about your particular application.

Great stuff
Use this if you have power connections that are outside like cameras for me. I use wyze cams I use this inside the USB connections to prevent corrosion and a little on the SD card contacts. But this stuff is die electric means it doesn't conduct electricity. If you only need it for 1 small thing it is still great to have in your toolbox. Should work great on sockets for light bulbs on your vehicles as well. So many applications.
