Excellent router for the price
The basic setup is quite easy. Once set up, there are quite a few options to play around with. The router was placed in a corner room and got great 2.4 ghz reception throughout the 4 bedroom house. The 5 ghz reception is strong enough for adjoining rooms with thick walls. The wifi 6 variant is going to be launched soon and the current version at a price of 14k is very competitive.

Works great, easy setup, good features
Like:Easy setupGood feature setWanted a router that stands up & save spaceBlazing fastDislike:Pricey, Netgear r7000p works just as well, but isnt feature rich like this one(As a side note, found netgear r7000p current lot to be flawed, new ones failing due to over heating maybe the current lot).AX88U which is priced a lot more in India than in the US.As a thumb rule, ALL router manufacturers are dumping unwanted/ flawed/ older products in India (Shame that).Current AX version of all routers seem to be plagued with firmware issues. It's a shame that they are not even fixing it after a year of teething issues. 6E standard is around the corner. Totally bummed that a generational shift is going to be missed because of incompetent manufacturers dumping older routers in Indian market and over pricing the same too.

Good speed and signal strength.
This is an upgrade from my basic d link router. So far my net speed increased by 40%..But this only in 5z band.in.2.4z band speed remains same. Signal strength is more than sufficient in both bands in my 3 BHK home.Other features yet to be discover.

Amazing Product
Gr8 product. Giving my ground floor of 1800 sqft concrete duplex house full connectivity as well as partially connecting the upper floor as well. Apart from connectivity, it is able to handle very high bandwidth as well effectively. Added benefit of converting my regular printer into a network printer thus easing my printing issues.

Phenomenal speed and coverage. Great buy
Great router. Installation was a breeze. The Asus router app is intuitive and gets the job done. Compared to the router given by the ISP this one is phenomenal... Big boost in speed and coverage. Have two of them and linked to the app. Slightly on the expensive side for the features and performance. But a single router, well placed, can easily cover a large house.

Mediocre, terrible warranty support
Warranty issues, and then followed by performance. After about 6 months this router suddenly stopped working, and won't power on. Considering it comes with a 3 year warranty, I contacted asus support. After a painful call with cs, managed to get a complaint registered (whew). At the Asus service center they simply refused to repair it, telling me that they won't as it is supposedly out of warrant. They had no interest in looking at either the invoice, or that the Asus warrant lookup on their website showed that the warrant was valid till mid of 2024.Multiple calls and chat sessions with Asus since then have resulted in yet another complaint id, and nothing else. Several days, and the router is still dead, with asus cs assuring me that they will do what is *best* for me, and repeatedly apologizing. As if apologizing is useful or somehow will fix the router.Avoid Asus. They treat customers in India as second class. (I didn't believe the claim when other reviewers wrote so, but am convinced now)Performance.Mediocre at best. Many reviews and claims about its features seem to be marketing paid for by Asus (unless I got a unit that was defective from the beginning.) Amazon wasn't allowing returns on this product, and got stuck with it.The range itself was no better than much cheaper routers that sell for 2-4K Rs on Amazon. Claims about beam forming are just that - claims. If left on for couple of days, the range and strength of the signal would drop, while the latency would keep on increasing (ping times to a certain server increased by 12 ms after the router was continuously on for 5 days). This could be related to how hot this router runs. I would turn it in off for ~15 minutes twice for it to cool down to work around these issues.Go with TP-Link, as others have noted much better experience, particularly in India.

Works as described. Decent router for the money.
Using it as my main router for an aimesh setup in my house with a couple of 59U V2's. Working really well and I'm getting good coverage in a 3200 sq ft, 2 storey house. Have only had it for a week so far though. Don't know how it'll age. My old router, a nighthawk x6s which is a comparable router in terms of price, is not as good as this one specially when it comes to asus's firmware vs netgear's
