Don't throw your old flashlight away because it's too dim and eats through batteries. With these LED bulbs, I've completed upgrading all my older flashlights with LED lamps. It's really a no-brainer. Installation is drop dead easy. Why buy a new flashlight when your older one can be renewed. OK, that was your lecture; here's some details.These bulbs are direct replacements for the incandescents in your flashlight. Just remember that some LED bulbs are built for specific voltages while others can accommodate a range of voltages. Remember, conventional AAA, AA, C, and D cells supply 1.5 volts each. If they are stacked, you add the voltage to yield a total voltage. For instance, three C cells output 4.5 volts. Just be sure your bulbs will accommodate the voltage.I replaced a two C cell flashlight bulb with these which run off of 3 volts. Voila. The result is light output that is whiter, brighter, and will use much less current because LEDs are so much more efficient that incandescents. Also, if your old bulbs didn't cast a nice and even round output, then neither will your flashlight with this bulbs. Still, it's worth upgrading even if the output has concentric rings of light and dark.

I used these to replace the incandescents in my mag lights. They work great, hours and hours of light.Great upgrade to upcycle an old flashlight and give it new life.

I received 2 bulbs... and only one functioned. The bulb that DID work is nice. It fit properly and works well in my 6v reflector lantern with a good light pattern. BUT... I paid for 2 and only received 1 functional bulb.

Works better in my mag light than another type of LED bulbs and the light is nice and broad no dark spot in the center like my other bulb did shipped fast and packed nice too,don't be shy about buying these its a great bulb.

Just throw your money on the ground, you'll end up with the same value. These bulbs won't shine steadily, they flicker on and off, or fade in and out. I tried them in several different flashlights, always with the same results. The return window had closed, so I threw them away and will try to forget I ever bought them.

I had hopes for these, but the light output is far less than the original incandescent bulb in the three cell flashlight.

I used one of these bulbs in an emergency light that only comes on when the power fails. It worked fine when I tested it, but it has not had much use yet. I don’t have any reason to think that it will fail – LEDs are fairly reliable – but not much real world use yet.
