Buy one, buy one now.
Have a Canon 5DS with battery grip and attached 28-300 zoom. Fits perfectly with the lens hood reversed. If I extended the case - there is a zip at the bottom to do so - I could leave the hood attached the right way round.Additional pockets all over the place for spare cards, batteries, manual or the like.Comes with a should strap and a hand strap and has a belt attachment but probably, with the camera and lens, a little heavy - don't want to lose my trousers!Easy to get the camera in and out. The case is well padded and hard in places.Highly recommended even for those professional sized cameras or those with a battery grip attached and takes my 28-300 F4 Canon lens with no problem.

Excellent product
I purchased the Think Tank 8818 50 V2.0 a few months ago but delayed writing the review because i wanted to use it for a while. Why i purchased this product:I made this purchase because i wanted to carry my EOS 70D camera with a EF 100-400 f4.5/5.6 L IS II USM attached to it, and with the lens Hood on. I photograph birds and so i wanted a bag / holster from which i could quickly pull out my kit and instantly start clicking. So after four months of use, here are my observations:1. The build quality of the product is excellent!!!2. My kit fits into the Holster if i unzip and pop the bottom out.3. The lens slides in a bit too snugly. So pulling it out on the field is a bit uncomfortable. I would have very much liked about a centimeter of extra room (Width) so that the lens would slide in and out more easily.4. Yet the holster protects the camera & lens from small bumps, brushes and scratches when i walk into thorny bushes while bird watching. Conclusion:Product build quality is excellent. My lens, being a bit large in diameter fits a bit too snugly into the holster. I would have preferred if the holster had a bit more room to accommodate the larger diameter of my lens. Perhaps if i had a narrower lens, i would have had no cause to complain. Also, a bit more padding in the walls of the holster especially around the lens would have been welcome.

Good holster.
I have canon 600D and Tamron 150-600. The entire thing (without the hood) fits into this holster. It also has good padding of foam for the protection of camera and lens.

Not for Nikon 200-500
Would like to give 3.5 stars. Can *NOT* be used for Nikon 200-500 even with hood reversed (hoodis too big to fit), but can be used for Tamron 150-600 with hood reversed with extension part unzipped.Unzipped part/Extension is not as strong as the rest of the bag, and am afraid to use it for Nikon200-500. For Tamron 150-600 use with hood (Hood when reversed gives extra protection).

Sturdy and spacious Camera Holster.
Too good, very sturdy and spacious. My Nikon 5200 attached with sigma 150-600mm getting stored very easily but without hood.A must for long zoom lens to carry around.
