NGK (4417) RC-TX59 Spark Plug Wire Set

Fast shipment, good quality, cheap and easy performance upgrade

It's difficult to find a product that can match Toyota's high quality OEM parts.I removed my factory plug wires before and replaced them with some Duralast ones. Those didn't last or were durable whatsoever.These NGK wires arrived. Beautiful, great craftsmanship and a high, consistent quality. I can trust these on my 22RE.Threw it on and drove it, I can feel a stronger spark. I gained a mpg from the cleaner, stronger spark. I've had these for well over 2-3 months by now, they do great. It gives some color to my engine bay, also!

This item took a month to get to my home. Awesome product tho. Made in Japan.

I went through two other brands of wires for my '93 Toyota Pickup with a 22re. They wouldn't fit into the distributor holes. The NGK were cheaper and they fit absolutely perfectly in all holes and locked tight. No fuss!One strange thing about the NGK wires though. They smelled like grape flavored vape juice for some odd reason. Not bad, but totally unexpected to open the box and smell artificial grapes. My engine bay also smelled like grapes for a little while until the smell burned off. I wonder if some dude at the factory spilled vape juice into the box, or if they just smell like that normally? Kind of funny.

I'm upgrading the ignition in my '95 Toyota Pickup and I wanted a better spark plug wire to handle the higher spark. Problem was that the distributor cap uses some special type of wire connectors with clips. I could not find a larger diameter wire set to fit this vehicle under $180. These wires however are constructed in such a way that they don't need to be larger diameter in order to handle higher spark. They are of great quality and so far have been able to handle my upgraded ignition system without fail.I would definitely recommend this wire set, NGK makes some good quality parts for import vehicles.Note to Toyota owners: I found out later on in a forum that the distributor cap for the '95 pickup might possibly be swapped with and older cap and rotor ('85-up) and still work. If you really want those thicker wires with more insulation, wire sets that fit those distributor caps are easily available. Warning though, I have not yet tried this so can't say for sure, but it is an option you could research. Since I already bought these and they work great I'll stick with them for as long as they last. I have an older cap and rotor lying around so I may just try it some time, if I do I will update my review here.

Very poor quality I guess it had to get good quality anymore the ones I pulled off of my 1993 Toyota truck were original and they were very high quality plug wires and still looked good they were a lot more heavy duty than the ones that I bought but you probably can’t get anything made like that anymore now they try to make things as cheap as possible so they can make more profit I guess you would think they could make them better than they did 30 years ago but I guess not!
