Fits perfectly
I have a collection of festool products that I have used in the shop for years. All of mine are made in Germany and are of very high quality. Prices are high but you get what you pay for.

Great pair for a smooth, flat surface
This was counterintuitive for me, but this pad creates a.m. incredibly smooth surface. It is pricey, but performs well. After using this pad for a while,I ordered another hard pad for one of my other Festool Sanders.

Great equipment but terrible parts!
I have to start the review by telling you all I am a big Festool fan. I have over $10K invested in Festool equipment and I do not regret any of this. However when a sanding pad for my Rotex 150 last me hardly a year before literally falling to pieces I take an issue with this. I have had the RO150 for about 3 years with very moderate use. About a year ago I needed a new pad because the old one just crumbled away. I bought actually 3 different pads ta hard one, a softer one and an extra soft for curved surfaces. I have been using strictly the (hard pad and tonight it just fell apart. The white foam in the middle of the pad separated from the rest. I decided to install one of the other two I had and guess what? They BOTH fell apart trying to install them. Total foam rot.I also have an old (8+ years) Bosh that I have only changed the pad ONCE during this time and after 6 years of use. The Festool pads cost 49 bucks each. The Bosh around 15. Get the picture?IS FESTOOL LISTENING? Or they just do not give a darn? Ridiculous. If I did not love the Rotex so much I would sell the stupid thing and forget about it.Ami I emotional right now you say? Of course I am! I just saw 150 bucks just fly away and 100 of those with NO use at all! When you charge a premium deliver a premium Festool!I keep all pads and such in my house under AC and away from humidity by the way. Now I am very concerned about my stash of different pads for other Festool sanders like the inline sander that I bought together with a box of different shaped pads for it...I guess, Live and Learn.

The Festool RO 150 FEQ is great, the sanding pad needs improvement
I would give my Festool RO 150 FEQ sander 5 stars. I really do like my Festool tools, but I am not happy with the durability of their sanding pads. After only sporadic use of my sander in a hobbyist environment, the pad just disintegrated while I sanded a piece of wood. At Festool's pricing, these pads should last a lot longer.

Excellent
Exactly what I needed after accidentally destroying the original pad. Replacement was a breeze and now my sander is like new again!
