I've always had a thin head of hair. Not balding, just not dense hair. And it's tended to get a bit frizzy on me, so I always kept it short to keep things easy. I bought Activ at Sport Clips per their recommendation and immediately loved the product. My hair is softer and more manageable than ever. After using it for a couple months I ABSOLUTELY notice a difference in thickness. I can finally go with normal length hair and it looks great. This product goes a long way, so it's well worth the price in my opinion. After my 2 oz bottles from Sport Clips I went and bought 8 and 16 oz. bottles.

Like you, Ive used almost every system out there. Im not that great at being consistent with treatment and hated how quickly you can lose progress with other medications. So I really appreciate that this is 1) A Shampoo, super easy to remember to use it and 2) you only use it every other day. Ive had this bottle for almost 5 months and will probably need to order agian the end of this month (I do keep my hair shorter, so I dont have to use as much)The Results: Ive noticed a little bit of growth, but where it really earned its 5 STARS is from how little I shed now. Like almost nothing! Pairing with the conditioner is a must, it helps make your hair feel fuller. Im sure Ill see more growth as I continue to use it, but being in a place where I dont feel like its just getting worse has been so great!

I've been using this shampoo for about 6 months now and I believe that it has helped me hold on to more of my hair as it starts to thin as I get older. The only thing I want to warn people about is the way Amazon seems to deliver this product because it will usually come in a box that is far larger than the actual product with no real packing inside of it so the bottle just rolls and gets tossed around inside. The last bottle I received had been twisted loose and the entire inside of the box and bottle had shampoo residue all over it and with this stuff being 125 bucks a bottle, you obviously don't want that. If this happens again I may try buying directly from the manufacturer if the price is about the same.

My husband absolutely swears by this shampoo and condition. Now that he has been using it for a couple months I can absolutely feel a difference and his hair does look more full. Appears to be a great product.

I've used this for one full year, so I have to say this is a fair evaluation of the product. It did not promote growth of new hair, however, it did seem to make my hair grow a little faster. Sure, it smelled nice and made my hair look good, but my normal shampoo did the same thing. I have also noticed lately that my hair is getting thinner on top of my scalp, so I don't believe this promotes hair retention either, at least for me.

I have been using this product for over 8 months. And I can said that it works for me.

I usually buy this at a salon, but they were all out so I bought it from Amazon instead. I noticed that the one from Amazon is a different color. The salon shampoo comes out white and the Amazon shampoo comes out yellow. The smells are a little different too. Maybe it sat on the shelf too long or maybe it’s different ingredients but it’s a no for me. I’ll be continuing getting mine from the salon.

There's no doubt about it--this product is expensive. Almost $100 for both the cleanser and the conditioner. It took about a month for my hairdresser to notice anything--because I'm thinning in the back and can't see it too well myself--but she reported she could see little hairs beginning to grow. I've been using it for about six months now, and hair continues to grow. I'm not noticing a much fuller head of hair because the hair growth is just pacing the rate of hair loss. But, I'm happy because it's stopped the net hair loss.Just make sure to follow their instructions--leave the cleanser in for five minutes, rinse, then apply the conditioner, and then rinse--and it really does work. I had been using Nioxin for years, but it hadn't been working to stop the thinning. But, Actiiv has kept my hair at status quo. And, that's good enough for me.
