Quite a nice and fast rc car, my nephews love this and it can take a proper bashing, doesn't break

I got this for a 5 year-old. He loves it! He spent ages setting the cones up and them proceeded to scatter them everywhere by driving the car into them. Kids eh? Bless 'em. He's also used it to effectively remove most of the paint from the skirting board, but I expected nothing less. This is a great toy and keeps him entertained for ages!

At the current price of around £17 (if you use the 50% off voucher), this would be great fun for kids, I would have loved it when I was younger.It has lights, and is pretty easy to manoeuvre using the remote control. It comes with some cones, and two sets of wheels, racing and drift wheels.There are two rechargeable batteries so that you get a bit longer to play before having to recharge.You will also need two AA batteries for the remote control unit as they aren't included, I always think all batteries needed should be included, especially with children's toys.In the Package you get the following:1 x Small screwdriver4 x Screws4 x Orange traffic cones4 x Drift Wheels1 x RC Car with racing wheels installed2 x Rechargeable batteries1 x User instructions

This AWD RC drift car has been great fun for everyone that has played with it.The only thing needed that isn't included is 2 AA batteries for the controller.It comes with 2 batteries for the car so double the fun and these are recharged using the supplied short USB cable. One battery is inside the car but not connected. A small screwdriver is supplied and this can be used to remove the battery covers on the car and the controler as well as the small screws securing the wheels. I did find al the srcews fairly tight so used one of my own screwdrivers with a larger handle to make life easier.There are also 4 spare small screws presumably in case wheel screws are lost at some point.The car itself is well built and damn it is fast for it's size- 25 km/h which scaled up would be 375 MPH.It also has 4 course cones and 4 grippier tyres as well as the hard drift tyres. It does need a reasonable sized flat area to run on especilly at the beginning as my control was not the most precise shall we say - it does improve with time. The treaded tyres do make the car more controllable but we found that if you used the treaded tyres on the front and the drift tyres on the back you could have a good amount of control at the outset. Yes it won't four wheel drift in that configuration but you can at least control the steering whist the back end has a mind of it's own 😉.Overall I think it's worth it and a great toy for all ages, I would suggest some supervision for the younger uses especially if the house paint work is valued.

Car worked for about 5 mins before it would no longer move back or forward, only the steering worked. Tried several times to turn on/off, everything works except the accelerate/brake function.

The media could not be loaded. The design of this remote controlled car reminds me of an old 1980s classic and I love the black and white styling.The car is supplied with 2 x rechargeable batteries (one is already placed inside the car battery compartment) and a short charging cable. The car only needs one battery, so the spare extends the play time. 2 x regular AA batteries are also required for the remote control handset (not provided). You also have a small screwdriver for opening the battery compartments and a couple of spare wheel screws.The car is fitted with 4 x wheels with drifter tyres and there is another full set of wheels in the box with road tyres. You also receive 4 x small road cones and a set of instructions.The car is very fast but (after some practice) it is relatively easy to control with the remote. The headlights come on when the car is driving forward but I think it would be more effective if they could stay on all of the time. The driving experience is very effective but you do need a large space to get the most out of this car. The road tyres make the car easier to control, so would probably be the better option for beginners.If the car gets bumped about and stops driving in a straight line, there is recalibration dial underneath, which can correct the steering.I think that this little car is great fun and it is particularly good value with the current 30% voucher offer.

I have received this RC drift car, to review on behalf of Amazon. It arrived promptly and well packaged.This is a nice little entry RC car. It comes with 2 different sets of wheels, 1 for racing and 1 for drifting. My 12 year old and 10 year-old sons seem to enjoy using it. Its surprisingly fast and is easy to control. It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for the car itself, but you will need 2 x AA batteries for the remote. On offer at the moment, its excellent value.

I bought this RC drift car for my sons birthday and it has been an absolute hit. It is small but powerful, and he has been using it almost every day for a month without any major issues. The car handles well and the semi proportional throttle gives a lot more control than basic remote cars.He was able to pick up the drifting style very quickly. It reaches decent speeds and turns sharply on smooth surfaces. We have a hardwood floor and a tiled hallway and it performs great on both. The car also includes. LED headlights which add a cool visual effect and help when driving in dimmer light. The battery life is decent.We get around twenty minutes of play per charge and the charging time is relatively quick. The remote control is comfortable to hold and the signal range is more than enough for indoor and small outdoor use. This RC car is well made, stylish and provides a great entry point into hobby grade RC driving. It is small enough to use indoors and responsive enough to be entertaining for older kids and even adults.
