I try to protect my skin from the sun the best way that I can, but this has also meant using the thicker creams on my face too. This cream by Glow Hub allows me to treat my face separately.Ingredients are generally considered safe, but it’s best to start off with a small amount and go from there.Overall, I like the branding and the designs. Defend Yourself Face Sunscreen SPF30 with UVA and UVB Protection for All Skin Types 50ml from Glow Hub.I always wear sun protection on my face either as a suncream or a foundation which includes one. This one from Glow Hub has an SPF of 30 which is ideal. It does say on the package to wear on top of your moisturiser which I did the first time but then tried it on its own and it felt just as good on my skin.It has a pump action dispenser which is useful as the makers tell you how much to sue on your face, neck and ears – most people use too little sun protection so this is a useful reminder. The cream absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a white film.Like most sunscreens this one offers both UVA and UVB protection from the sun, plus gives an extra layer of protection against environmental damage (think pollution & free radicals) with the inclusion of Vitamin e, rich marigold and green tea.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position right now to test its efficacy in terms of UV protection (SPF30), but I am sure it works well enough, shielding from harmful rays and should be used on a regular basis when UV levels are high.What I can comment on however is the texture of this product. It is very smooth and silky, easy to apply without leaving any white streaking whatsoever.It comes in a small branded plastic bottle (inside a branded box) with a pump dispenser. It is ideal to carry with you to have at hand whenever needed. The overall design and branding leaves a lot to be desired and cheap looking, so perhaps not ideal for gifting. This does not inspire confidence in the product overall.With the pump dispenser, it makes it easier to apply a small amount, avoiding using too much at a time and wasting it.At £12.00 for 50ml it is not cheap although made from natural ingredients (vitamin E, rich marigold and green tea), with a texture that spreads and absorbs in the skin well.

I normally use SPF 50 but the difference isn't huge once you get to SPF 30 and above (97% of sun rays vs 98%) so the protection level for this is solid - broad-spectrum coverage, shielding skin from both UVA (ageing) and UVB (burning) rays – and I’ll be using it in the spring rather than summer.A common mistake is applying too little, and the guidance on the tube to apply 4-6 pumps to the face, neck and ears is helpful. It’s marketed as lightweight and silky and it is light, but no more or less than most modern suncreams I’ve used. The antioxidants should also provide additional skincare.

This SPF 30 sunscreen is perfect for me to use on my face. It comes in a squeezable tube, but it has a very useful pump dispenser on the end to quickly and accurately dispense the product. The cream does not have any noticeable scent and is a creamy white colour. It blends into the skin easily and does not leave any white haze or sticky residue. it is good to know that you have protected your skin from both UVA and UVB rays, yet the product is not noticeable when you are wearing it. At £12.00 for 50ml this product is fairly priced, and it has good information and directions for use on the tube and the box.

This is a nice SPF which feels very light and is easy to apply and absorbs well. It doesn't leave any streaks or have any particular scent. It is quite expensive compared to other brands. So 4 stars from me.

This is nice and thick but not greasy and absorbs into the skin thoroughly without leaving a greasy or chalky residue.Perfect for popping in your bag .
