The media could not be loaded. HelloI usually dont write reviews but I had to because I spend alot of money on this flag pole. I bought this Aug of 2022 and it's been a few months and my flags is all broken. So the flag it self is not a good quality that's why it's all broken but the pole stand it self is perfect.

It will slip down when weather gets bad. At 1st I was like darn it. But after realizing it really saved itself from getting damaged and it only took 1 min to slide it fully up. So I can’t complain. Other brands self destruct from 60 mph winds . These just slip from heavy winds flexing the compression screw built in the flags pipe. Looks great well worth the money. 5 Stars.

UPDATE:Product information states that at 40MPH, flag should be taken down. Well, gusts of 14MPH bend or break this flag pole. The first one lasted several months before it broke. Figured it was a defective unit so ordered and installed a second unit. That unit failed in two weeks with gusty winds that never exceeded 14MPH!!!There is no way to contact the seller. There is no listing for them, no contact page, etc. Amazon is taking it back because it has only been two weeks!!!Something else to note: The pole does not stay locked in the up position. It will randomly drop a section when it feels like it’ll. One of the problems that I found is that the ring at the top of each section will actually come loose from the pole. If you do not tighten this one first, you cannot tighten the extensions.Just like my original, the upper ring for the flag does Not move smoothly. It is constantly binding.It is a plastic ring that does not have enough room to move without rubbing, thus binding. Do not see any way of fixing it short of taking that head part off and cutting it.End of Update:^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I had a 30 foot version and after 6 months, it became impossible to unlock the sections. I was not able to lower the flat (standard size that ships with the pole) and a 25MPH gust of wind snapped the pole after bending it.Kept the bottom section of the pole and cut it at 3 feet. Put it into the hole and then the new pole inserted into that perfectly.The flag is nice and clearly visible. I have the solar pole light on top. I like the pole concept and the way it looks. Time will tell if this pole and its locking mechanism are better than my first one.

Made of good quality it seems like. Easy to use. My only complaint is after product was delayed, the top ball of the flagpole is crushed. Absolutely no way I can use this.

We love that we can adjust the pole especially during high winds.

9/19/24necessary update: Cheepie Chinese stuff I think. This thing locks each section by turning (like you would the pole for a shower curtain). The problem is, the nut and threaded part are both made of plastic so they will often stop when the pole isn't tight. Plastic threads are known to gall.Sooo, thinking the top three were tight I pushed the pole up to lock the next section and the one above fell all the way, jamming the inserted part almost all the way to the bottom of the next section..I worked on this a long time and finally got it out and put back together. Then I put anti-seize on the threads. It is working for now but I scratched the pole quite a bit working on it and my hands hurt.Save yourself the grief and buy something else.Original review:Really easy to install. Ok to use (have to twist each section to lock). Looks great. I am concerned with the use or plastic for the locking rings. Only time will tell how long these will last in the direct sun.MAKE SURE YOU VOTE!!!!!

The flag pole it’s self was fine but the ball on the top was all smashed so I’m gonna have to order a new ball.
