One of the best budget digital optic
This really only has one key issue and that's its weight compared to other digital optics. The housing is entirely machined aluminum which makes this extremely durable, but also very heavy at ~2lb. This will affect the handling of your rifle, although it can help counterbalance bullpups which tend to be rear heavy. This being said, as most modern LPVOs are also 2lb, you're getting a lot more capability with this optic for the weight. The QD mount is probably the best I have seen of any Chinese manufacturer. Usually Chinese QD mounts are very sensitive to the tension setting, as too much will cause it to break when the lever is closed but too lose may cause the optic to fall off under recoil. This QD uses a secondary throw lever lock so recoil can never shake the lever out of alignment. The optic also comes with a cantilever adapter which raises the height of the optic by ~0.5” and can adjust to up to 4” of rear adjustment. Note that due to the hole pattern on the adapter, you cannot adjust the optic forward. The cantilever mount is important when mounting this on bolt actions where if a bent/extended bolt handle is not used, the optic body may interfere with the cycling of the bolt. It should be noted that the screws are not tight from the factory so they should be tightened, or the optic could fall off. Additionally, the package does not come with enough screws to mount the cantilever adapter unless you only mount screws in a diagonal pattern (think like how you tighten bolts on a tire). You need to get 6 more screws from the hardware store.Contrary to what another reviewer has said, zeroing is easy. What he probably was confused about was that after entering the zeroing menu, you have to press the power button once to allow the arrows to switch to adjusting the POA. The instruction manual is clear about this. This also has a pseudo single shot zero. You use a steady rest or sand bag for your rifle to immobilize it, fire a single shot (realistically you should fire a group), ensure the POA is on the POI, then enter zeroing and you can see the old POA and your new POA as a white crosshair. Move the white crosshair to the POI, and you are zeroed. There are 5 memory slots to save zero and reticle configuration (type and color). The calibration distance setting does not change anything, it just allows you to label the zero setting with a distance which will be displayed on the screen, so at a glance you can make sure you are on the right zero assuming you are zeroing at different distances per caliber. For example, this won’t be helpful if you zero both 5.56 and 308 at 100 yards. This runs on an 18350 battery which is an odd size as it is slightly larger than a CR123A. The battery compartment is very easy to change out, however you really do not need to buy more of these special batteries as the optic can be charged while being used by a USB C cable, so a small battery bank can be mounted to the stock of the gun. Note that if you do this, you lose some water resistance and a fairly bright LED light shines from the USB plug which is supposed to remind you to keep it closed. This could be rectified by an application of dielectric grease and then RTV silicone sealant to give the male USB C cable a water resistant interface that also blocks the light. Note that if the USB cable is accidentally unplugged, the device will automatically shut off, so it is important for the cable to be securely attached if you are powering the optic externally. There is an auto power off setting, however it is disabled by default.Unlike most digital scopes, this has objective (parallax) and ocular adjustment like a normal scope. The ocular adjustment is helpful if you wear glasses and lose them as it will allow you to still see the screen clearly unless your eyesight diverges beyond the scope adjustment range. The eyebox is very wide of ~4”, so mounting on heavy recoiling guns should not be an issue. However it does include an optional eye cup which helps with eye splash from the screen illumination. The eyebox minimum distance is virtually 0 as you can use the scope body as an eye cup and put your eye right up next to it. This is obviously not advised for a gun that recoils. The screen brightness at the lowest setting is still visible in full sunlight, however contrast is significantly reduced and things in shadows may not be visible even if the eyecup is used due to the naked eye pupil constricting due to the daylight. For this reason, the maximum power is still best for daytime use. Note that the scope does not remember the brightness setting and will always return to level 6 (out of 9).The screen has three settings, color, monochrome, and green. Green does not impart a heavy shade to the image, so it is a valid option unlike in most digital night vision. Note that when this setting is changed, the brightness setting resets to level 6. This can cause temporary blindness at night with the sudden increase in brightness. Color is not a very useful setting at night because it has a mechanical IR filter which you can hear click off when switching to monochrome or green. You cannot use color without the IR filter, so the other two settings have significantly better visibility at night. The IR illuminator is part of the scope body, and although it is much smaller than most LED based illuminators, this is more powerful because it appears it is actually using a laser. The illuminator has an adjustable bezel to change the throw from a box shaped grid laser matrix, to a wide flood light. The illuminator is fairly well centered in the scope FOV which is very nice. The illuminator is slow to turn on as it turns on and off by holding the right arrow, which will turn to color mode first, then you have to hold the right arrow again before the illuminator turns on. This also means that after turning the IR light on, you will likely need to go into the menu to restore the monochrome or green setting. The PIP is easily toggled by holding the up button, and a great feature is that when PIP is engaged, magnification only affects the PIP, not the main screen. However this benefit is not well utilized as the magnification range is far higher than a digital optic is capable of resolving. Anything higher than base magnification is hard to use in low light as the noise in the image will obscure target details. The package includes a 16GB micro sd card which can be easily swapped by the user unlike most of the budget digital optics. The optic can record audio, but this can be disabled. Note that the reticle does not display in the video footage. The optic has a wifi function which can be turned off, but it is supposed to allow the optic vision to be relayed to a smartphone. However the TRVCAM program it requires is no longer present in the Play store. The best feature of this optic is the top rail. This allows you to mount a red dot which allows you to use IIT night vision to passively aim instead of having to rely on a laser. This is useful because while the frame rate is high at 50/60Hz, a red dot will not have any lag, and the high base magnification of this scope means it can be difficult to use it to shoot rapidly at close range. Note that BAC both eyes open aiming is possible with this optic which can mimic a red dot due to the center illuminated reticle, however the scope cover needs to be applied as the brightness of the screen can wash out the red POA.This scope has two unadvertised features which are fantastic additions. The first is an onscreen compass which displays the bearing of the POA very accurately and it is not tilt sensitive (which allows you to more accurately use landmarks that may be on hills or valleys). The compass is accurate, although it is slow to settle. The second feature is a tilt reading. On the left side of the screen there is cant reading in degrees which is a very useful feature since at night you typically can’t see the horizon to properly level your gun. If your gun is canted, your shots will veer off zero horizontally. The angle of the gun is given in MOA or MRAD on the right side of the screen. This reading not being given in degrees is unfortunate, but it’s easy to work into your DOPE. Having a cant reading in a precise magnitude is great for barricade shooting as it allows you to shoot tilted but with a predictable zero shift. Both the compass and the tilt readings run off a gyroscope which can be calibrated. This involves placing the scope on a properly level surface and then hitting the calibration button and waiting for it to complete. However, since the calibration setting is not saved when the optic is turned off, and the default calibration is accurate enough, it is really not worth doing. The BDC setting is a stadiametric rangefinder which is engaged by clicking the down button and exited by holding the left button. In BDC mode, you select between a deer, hog, wolf, or rabbit. Then you adjust the top bar until the space between it and the bottom bar is the height of the animal, and the range is displayed. While quick to access, this is not a very useful feature as it is prone to error since the range output does not change based on what magnification setting you are in. Additionally the size of the animals indexed may vary significantly in real life hunting. A better use of this mode is for calibers like 300 blackout where you figure out which animal setting corresponds with your subsonic zero at base magnification. Note that adjusting the top bar to perfectly match your alternate zero is not useful since when you exit BDC mode and return, it will always be reset to the height of the animal at 91m (100yards).This optic really rivals some of the more expensive digital optics that cost well over $500, and it gets a lot of things right that most budget digital optics don’t.

Exactly what I wanted.
Ever since we moved to the country, we have always wanted a night vision scope, for shooting as well as just looking to see what was around our home.I was happily surprised with the one I purchased because it does so much and at the price point compared to others, it seems to stand up to scopes way more expensive.Being able to zoom to 5x, 10x, 15x and 20x is an appreciated option, although, with no sun and obviously night vision, when you get to 20x zoom, it does break down a little but reading the reviews and understanding the technology, that is to be expected. The app was easy to download and understand the simple directions.I love that we can record what we see through the scope. That is not an option with many of the scopes I looked at.Also, it fits handguns as well as the long guns. That gives a great opportunity to utilize the scopes functions more ways than I ever imagined. The battery life goes on and on and on, we have only had to charge it once so far.The only downfall is for me, it is a little heavy after a while, but that seems to be expected from the reviews on all of the NV scopes I looked at.Overall, I am happy with my purchase. It is just as described, it has so many options, it is a lot of fun just looking through and seeing what's out in the wetlands and fields.

Great scope! Would buy again!
The scope showed up on time even early. Right out of the box you can tell it is well built. The scope is very user friendly once you read the instructions on it. I also watched a video on the scope before it arrived which helped out allot. There is allot of adjustment to this scope so be sure to take the time and get your settings right. This is not plug and play you need to take the time to dial it in and get the settings where you want them which is easy enough to do. Once you get it dialed in the picture is awesome! I was very impressed. Day time mode works great and multiple night vision and IR modes to choose from it has a little something for everyone’s tastes. You can change the color of the night vision as well as change the crosshairs on the scope. All and all I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to get into night hunting. Amazing product good job!

Aggravation
The optics were good. There are six mounting screws that will be needed to use the included mount, that are not included. I mounted to Smith and Wesson MP15. Here is why I sent mine back. The included instructions are terrible. I was not able to find any videos on line to assist with sighting in the scope. Three of us spent hours trying to sight the scope in. One of those being an electrical engineer. We could not figure this out. Not able to reach anyone at customer support. It’s a very nice scope, seemed to be made well, especially for the price. Good luck if you choose this item, hopefully you will have more success.

night vision scope
I was on the hunt for a night vision scope. I have massive amounts of coyotes on my farm! I found this one quite easily and the description is right on. Took only two days shipping and u was not disappointed. It is easy to use. The vision is clear. The case is awesome to have. It came with all needed accessories. I put it on one of my guns but took it off because it fits multiple if my guns. This night scope is totally worth the price! The battery life is long lasting the accuracy seems to be in point. I highly recommend this.
