The MakeID P31 works great so far—super easy to use and does exactly what I need. The real standout, though, is their support team. I had trouble figuring out how to edit a previous print (turns out it was 100% user error), but they patiently walked me through it without laughing. Great product, even better support.

Apple app kind of sucks, but overall thrilled with the printer. Need to try using it on my computer, and see if that software is better.

Nifty device. Bluetooth range is not great. Walking around the house, it will lose the connection pretty quickly, but not a big deal given its use. Battery life is good. I love the versatility of the cartridges. Easy to swap out. The app takes some getting used to. Take advantage of saving templates as it makes repetitive cable making much easier, especially when swapping label types. I use a lot of the continuous label design for labeling electrical panels, and the small height wrap-around wire labels for labeling low voltage connections.One area where I would ding it a bit is with regards to print quality. In order to get consistent printing - meaning no bare spots of letters and numbers - I have to print everything in bold. I also darkened it from the default setting (heavier weight to the ink application). This is a minor quibble.Its compact size makes it easy to lug around to different locations. Battery generally lasts all day if you turn it on and off as needed. The unit will auto-shutdown after a few minutes of inactivity. The cartridges are more fragile, so you need to be a bit more careful to ensure they don't get damaged if you're travelling around with them in a bag, etc.

When I first saw this printer, I felt really good until I used it for the first time.Desktop use is way harder to set up than it should be. Mobile use is near impossible to correctly align your images. The software is a nightmare if you use images for your labels. It has the most limited functionality. This could be a solid way to print labels if there was a modern interface. There is no way to scale up your image past a certain point to properly align. Desktop setup was way too many .However, it can still be used! ! !

Love it easy to use

When I bought this label printer it was only to be used for labeling my camera wires however after using it I have a million different things I could use it for. The app is very easy to use and let you customize the font and and more when printing. You can use it to print barcodes or QR codes anything and it has a rechargeable battery. Installing the cassette, the cassette has ink and sticky labels all in one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice labels but hard to use the interface; i.e. not very intuitive.
