A good piece of kit
I already have a smaller torque wrench but needed a wrench which would allow a higher torque of 290Nm. Having done my research this NorTorque340 wrench was chosen. Upon opening the case it was pleasing to see that the wrench came with a Declaration of Conformance certificate showing that it has been tested and properly calibrated. The wrench has a working range of 60-340Nm and in the instructions you are advised not to change the dial outside of this range. I have now used this wrench to assist with tightening up after fitting new replacement brake disc(rotors) and pads and am pleased with the performance of this tool. I found that even though my older smaller torque wrench would have been able to work in the ranges required for this job I used the new wrench in preference knowing that the calibration on the new wrench was likely more accurate than my old wrench. With this new wrench I will now confidently tackle the next job which will require removal(Using a breaker bar not this wrench!) and refit of replacement hub-nut torqued upto 290Nm. The wrench is 68cms long and I estimate that you have 60cms of working length upon which you can apply a force so I believe that I will need to apply a force of around 50kgs in order to achieve a 290Nm of torque.(290/9.81/0.6)

Quality tool
Quality tool, works well, easy to use, used everyday since I bought it. Only downside is the scale is small.

Ok but
Very good overall but it does have a few drawbacks. The scale is not the best to use and the plastic that the handle is made from is cheap and does crack easily. I've had a older sykes pickivant one which is near enough the same, the scale is a bit smaller but the handle is of better quality. If someone from norbar reads this spend that extra money for a better handle and a decent scale or just go back to the older design.

Great tool.
Feels well built and easy to read settings compared to my other ‘classic style’ wrench. Good solid click heard/felt when using. Considering buying another lower range setting to compliment.

accurate, quality product
quality product, although the scale having such a range you have to be careful when setting it, otherwise a great purchase

Great torque wrench
Very good. I have a nor at wrench from decades ago which has been faultless, expect to hand this on down too. Really nice tool and good value. Cal cert included.
