Wood-Mizer LX50SUPER Portable Sawmill 26" Log Diameter - 14HP Gas Engine

I really love the saw mill . There were a few parts missing , i contacted the dealer in Newnan Ga. , their customer service was excellent . They went out if their way to help me get the missing parts .I would definetly recommend the wood mizer product.

I have put about 40 hours on this mill and it has performed great. I believe this is the best mill for this price range and maximium 26" diameter capacity period. That being said, my opinion of Wood Mizer dropped considerably due to the pathetic instructions that came with it. There were steps completely missing in the assembly manual. There is no excuse for what I used to think was a professional company to include such contemptible instructions. Because of this I can only give 4 stars.

There is so much to love about this saw. The shipping was flawless. No fuss arrival to my doorstep. The packaging is exquisite and there was not even a scratch on the paint. This sucker is heavy and I mean call some friends to move it around. I suspect it will hold up to a log or 2. These are the great things about the saw.You may wonder why a 3 star review? I consider myself a very apt mechanic. I wouldn’t say expert but I learned from an expert and have put together about every item you can imagine. I have seen some awful instructions; but I have never seen such terribly executed instructions as the ones with this machine. I have had better instructions from harbor freight. I have followed instructions that were not even in English easier than this tutorial. I can’t decide what’s worse the booklet or the video. Ultimately I assembled this machine by reverse engineering from good quality pictures off the web and some illustrations from the provided manual.Wood Mizer you should be ashamed to present such a beautiful product and ruin it with the experience of putting this together. All purchasers be warned.

The directions to put it together assumed so much. They cover a step by step. It was very difficult to get some of the bolts in. It was a challenge to put together
