Good.
Disappointed that the handle is plastic and the sheath feels like pleather but it looks nice.

Good knives for collectors not for use in the wild.
I have bought two Perkins knives and they look good and are really sharp. The sheath did not fit the knife well at all. In my opinion they are more collectors knives vs real outdoor knives. If your going into the wild stick with ka-bar, cold steel, Ontario or other well known brands. I have attached a pic of three Bowie brands to compare. Sheffield, cold steel, Timber rattler and Perkins.

kind of disapointed
The media could not be loaded. The knife has the dimensions that I expected, the shape of the blade and exactly what I wanted from a Bowie knife, the edge was not quite right, at least the bevel is uniform throughout the entire blade, and the saw on the spine of the knife without any edge at all is useless, general the knife is very good, the guard and brass knob look excellent in combination with the wooden handle, the knife is in perfect condition with respect to its workmanship. No brand engraved, Perkins claims is a high carbon steel but I'm not sure it is, there is no way to probed . The cover is disgusting, two thin sheets of leather with foam spacers. Two stars for three reasons, the edge, the useless saw on the spine of the blade, and the sheath. The edge is not a main problem, but definitely I had to find me a better sheath, It will surely be more expensive than the knife itself.*** Folding Knife is Grand Way Tactical Flipper 6495 BCFTGrand Way Pocket Tactical Folding Flipper Knife - Best Survival Spring Assisted Knife with 440 Stainless Steel Blade - Good for Camping, Hunting and Fishing - Super Gift for Boy Scouts 6495 BCFT

Big Bowie knife and under $30. Not bad.
It's an ok knife for the price. I'm not pretending its a Randall Bowie, and I would not be able to use it if I did. Currently, I have no plans to use it, but just collect it. I have some big Schrades for dirty work. I think Perkins makes some nice looking knives, but attention to details are lacking compared to a Buck. I would buy it again and recommend it at least to collect. Sorry, I cannot recommend it for real and actual use and appreciate other reviews who do. I would buy another if someone actually uses it, cause the price is right. Seller does not seem to want to answer the question of country of origin.

Small handle and improperly shaped
poor craftmanship - but obviously an inexpensive bowie style knife. I will remove the grip and fashion a proper one.

Display quality only
Love the blade, but handle is tapered to much.
