Good quality
Very good quality. Looks as new. A little bit slow, as expected.

False advertising
It’s a beautiful tablet and laptop. However, the description said it’s in excellent condition but the battery doesn’t charge, there’s no sound and it has visible signs of usage.

Good little laptop
I'm quite happy with the HP Elite x2 1012 G1 so far. I like having the detachable keyboard; most of the time around the house I just use it as a tablet to look at things on the internet, but when I go somewhere I can use it as a full-featured Windows laptop and work with all the same programs I'm used to. I got this to replace an ASUS T200 laptop that I have had for nearly six years (it got broken). When I started to look for a replacement I found that ASUS doesn't make detachable laptops any more, and not many other companies do either. The main choice for this type of laptop is Microsoft Surface. I suppose this HP is very similar to one of those, but getting it "renewed" made it quite a bit cheaper. The main appeal of the ASUS was that it was very inexpensive. The HP Elite x2 is significantly thinner and lighter than my old ASUS was, and the screen is sharper. I very much like the look and feel of the screen. I'm finding it a bit of a challenge to make Windows 10 work the way I want it to as a laptop and a tablet, but then I recall having a similar challenge with the ASUS and Windows 8, and I eventually got something I was reasonably happy with. One thing I wish this computer had was more output ports. There is just one USB-C port and one USB-A port. The USB-C port is for charging as well as for connection of peripherals. In order to do much, you need to get a USB-C hub to allow for additional connections. Something to watch out for is that the first hub I tried (by Alogic) did not allow for the charger to be plugged in at the same time as the hub. (You could plug the charger into the "pass-through" USB-C port on the hub, but it did not go through and power the computer.) I've ordered a different hub, which explicitly shows plugging the power cord into the hub and then the hub into the USB-C connector on a laptop, but haven't received it yet.I got the renewed (why don't they say refurbished?) Elite x2 from TechSales Canada. It came in a plain box with just the computer (including keyboard) and a charger. It's not the original charger, but a third-party USB-C charger from a company called Tenker. It seems just fine. The computer looks like new; I have no complaints on that score. It must be about four years old because I found somewhere that the warranty expired in 2018. The Amazon description says that renewed computers come with a 90-day warranty, but I also bought the two-year protection plan in case there are any longer-term problems with the "renewal". There was no documentation except for a flyer with a support phone number and email address. I haven't needed support (yet), so I can't comment on that. I find it helpful to have a user's manual, and I was able to download it from the HP website.

Great purchase!
I bought my HP x2 refurbished and is works well. I am happy with this device and would repurchase instantly. I love the tablet mode and the laptop mode. I have received many compliments.

Плохой аккумулятор 🔋
Comfortable. But after three months it stopped working on battery power. It turns on only from the network. And the fingerprint does not work from the very beginning.

NOT WORTH IT. Go buy a new one!
1st, this item after only 1 attempt to deliver, was sent to a auto parts store out of my way, and I was told I had to go get it. NOT COOL at all. After I opened it I could tell corner was dented from drops, an screen had a scratched area but you don't always see it depending on screen image. Battery looked good but died fast off charger. I returned it. I had to pay full return charge too. NOT recommending this seller.

Great 2-n-1 tablet with keyboard
I've only had it a few days but so far, it is great. Bigger than a small tablet but not too big to be bulky to hold. It is refurbished and hopefully, it will last a long time.

Problems from the start
Loved the laptop and the fact that it doubled as a tablet but from the day it was received I couldn’t get it to charge or come on. Assumed it was the charging cord or well hoped it was. Took it to a Best Buy tried plugging it in to a charger and lo and behold it charged. Happened to have an hp laptop charger in storage got it out and it worked ….for awhile. Now not even a year after buying it the laptop only turns on while connected to the charger and you have to make sure the charger is carefully placed in because it seems like the charging port is messed up. When it turns on the battery says it’s at 0% and never increases and as soon as it’s unplugged it dies. I’ve left it on the charger without turning on to give it time but nothing I’ve tried works so my guess is it’s the battery or the charging port neither of which should have stopped working already and the fact that they didn’t bother to make sure the charger they sent me worked really tells me they don’t care about customer satisfaction. I order a lot of things from Amazon and a lot of renewed and refurbished item and have been very satisfied but I now am too worried something like this will happen again when making bigger or renewed purchases. I’m just very disappointed in the quality of the product. So be wary and if you have any issues return immediately. We are past the return date so now I’m stuck with a laptop I’m going to have to fork out money to fix already
