Excellent
The market for revision resources is becoming increasingly crowded and increasingly specialised. Some of the product out there is redundant but some, like the materials for the CEM and 11+ exams, is outstandingThis workbook is accessible and manageable, with the tasks broken down into very manageable 10 minute tests.Even if your child is not sitting an entrance exam, this book can still be a useful study aid.

Steroids for vocab
In ten minutes a day, parents and children will grow their vocabulary exponentially with this book. It's quite incredible really. My son learnt what 'fundamental', 'effervescent' and 'vitality' meant and I learnt what 'covert' meant. If this surprises anyone, English is not my first language. So yes, I would recommend this brilliant book for anyone willing to start using low-frequency vocab in their everyday life, not just in the 11+ exam.

Supremely easy to use- can't go wrong
A very good study guide that includes thirty 10 min. tests that are ideally targeted at 10-11 year olds. It's a nice varied package, including alongside the tests some puzzles, progress chart and plenty of expert tips to help the student work through the book. All in all a well delivered, focused and well organised study aid that is supremely easy to use- can't go wrong.

Good breadth of question types within the category of word problems
This book of 10-minute tests based around word problems offers a good range of question types - including using word banks, various types of cloze questions, jumbled sentences, odd ones out, selecting the correct set of letters to accurately complete a word's spelling, using three letter words to complete longer words, and more. There are 30 10-minute tests in all, as well as 11 related puzzles. The tests each contain between 16 and 21 questions. The tests themselves include helpful tips on how to handle some of the question types whilst working under speed. A fully explained answer section is situated in the centre of the book (to be pulled out). The 10-minute format is good for everyday practice, as well as helping to build up stamina over time - as the level of concentration required to sit two hard, complete, 45 minute tests back to back is significant. The range of question types included is broader than anything I have come across in comparable offerings from CGP, and the questions are pitched at a slightly harder level. This gels with my experience of Bond 11+ practice papers - which are significantly harder, and include more questions, than those published by CGP.
