Doesn't tug hair and gets to the scalp, exactly what I was looking for. Not very stiff so it doesn't hurt at all.

Using this to shampoo feels amazing. But suppose put shampoo in and use that way uhhh no that was a disaster 🙄.....

This scalp massager is designed to fill with shampoo. You then press the soft rubber cap to dispense the shampoo. The only way I would use it this way would be possibly when bathing my cats. I prefer to put the desired amount of shampoo on my head and massage it around gently with my fingers to create a small amount of lather, then I use side to side movements with the scalp massager to massage the shampoo into my roots and scalp. My fingernails break very easily so this is literally a lifesaver for my nails! I tend to use my nails to scrub my scalp, but now I don't need to do that anymore. The rubber cap does make it harder to hold though. If you don't hold it exactly right the cap gets in the way and the handle starts to hurt my hand. I don't feel the cap is necessary and I don't really care for it. I pushed the cap completely inside by accident and it took me a few minutes to get it out. This happened while washing my hair. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to retrieve it. I like that it promotes hair growth by stimulating the scalp and helps to reduce itchiness and dryness. The massage feels quite good on my head. Perhaps the brush could be improved upon by making it a little bigger, but I prefer one without the dispenser.

This is a pretty nice scalp massager. It's slightly firmer than my other one, so it took a little bit of getting used to at first. However, now that my head is used to it, I think it does a better job of "exfoliating" my scalp. The shampoo dispensing functionality is interesting, but I found it easier to just dispense shampoo myself and work it in. Otherwise, I felt like I didn't have the appropriate control and wound up using more product than I otherwise would have.

It massages your scalp and is very good to wash your hair!

This is a nice item to use once in awhile during a hot bath, as you can use it to massage your head gently while it shampoos your hair automatically. Pretty smart invention, i must say. I like to use this alongside salt in the bathwater for a very relaxing evening.

He’s been using a scale massager in the shower for a while, but when I saw this scrubber dispensed shampoo, I thought he might want to give it a try. He said this works really well at getting the shampoo down to the roots of his hair. Both he and I have to be careful not to use too much shampoo—we have curly hair that loves to drink up hair products. He said that he can massage his scalp while putting shampoo just where he wants it with this dispenser.It’s easy to fill the scrubber with shampoo; there’s a soft, squishy button on the scrubber you pull out, and you pour in the shampoo. Pop the button back, and you’re all set.The pale green and tangerine colors are pretty, but not overly feminine. My son wouldn’t have used this if it were pink, but he was fine with the neutral colors.This dispenser helps my kid use less shampoo, which means he doesn’t have to use clarifying shampoo to remove residue as often. His curls look great and he’s very pleased with this massager/shampoo dispenser. This could be a cute stocking stuffer, or a fun little gadget for home spa days.

Good to use to scrub hair but pushing button to dispense shampoo doesn’t work. Disappointed
