Looked fantastic in my medieval Zoom set for classes during lockdown
This little firemaker really pulled together my medieval Zoom set. I've been teaching during Covid-19 lockdown and changing Zoom themes each week, and this looked very realistic on camera. In regular daylight, it's less impressive, and the fan noise is definitely a drawback--I wish it were quieter! But as you can see from the photo, it looked very good onscreen with creative lighting, and would be great for Halloween or any nighttime decor. Glad I found it.

If I can't find a fireplace, I'll make one instead.
The media could not be loaded. Perfect for adding a little flair to my Christmas display! We both always had a fireplace growing up so when our rental house didn't have one I took matters into my own hands. For the price, I think that the size and quality of this item are more than satisfactory. Put some logs around it and it will look much bigger than it is! Our only complaint is the noise, you can hear it very well in the video. However, I cut a paper plate in half and sort of wrapped it around the front half of the machine and it does a decent job of deflecting the sound. Worst case scenario, I'll just put on some Christmas music to drown it out! Overall, very satisfied. Happy Holidays!

Assembles really. Decent value, pretty bright, a little on the small side, cord could be longer. Not rechargeable

It's just Ok
I took off 4 stars for PRICE, Safety and Quality, and Short Cord.This is basically a small plastic cylinder with a PC fan inside with a bright red LED that shines on 3 pieces of cloth that are glued onto the plastic. It does look fairly from a distance but if you get too close and see it from a slightly higher level the led light is VERY bright in your eyes.Next the Safety. The fan does not have a safety cage over it and if you or a small child puts their fingers into it or picked it up wrong the fan wall strike your fingers. It spins fast enough a small child could be cut.Next, the power cord is super short and barely over 12" long. I had to use an extension cord with it.Overall it's ok and looks pretty cool, but has some flaws for the price.

Pros:-It flickers like fire-it's lightCons:-It's loud, like very loud for it's size-It's very red not like a natural flame (could be fixed if it only had a different colored cloth, like yellow)-It's small-- don't expect a faux bonfire
