I recently got this pop-up pet playpen for my friend's dog, and it’s been an absolute lifesaver during outdoor trips. The best thing about it is how easy it is to set up — it literally pops open in seconds, and you’re good to go. No faffing about with complicated instructions or tools, which is a huge plus when you’ve got an excitable dog waiting to explore.The size is perfect for small to medium dogs, and there’s plenty of room inside for them to stretch out or snooze after a long day. I’ve also used it for my friend’s cat on one occasion, and it worked just as well — kept her secure and happy. The 600D Oxford fabric feels sturdy, and even though it’s lightweight, it doesn't feel flimsy.It’s ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, and I love how portable it is. The carry bag it comes with is surprisingly compact, making it easy to pack for camping trips or even a quick visit to the park. It’s also quite easy to clean, which, let’s be honest, is essential when you’ve got pets getting messy outdoors.One thing to watch out for, though, is that it might not hold up to a very determined chewer or escape artist. Perfect for my young cat at night time as she thinks she's on patrol on the night shift if not in her bedroom, only slight issue is she got her claws stuck on the mesh,it the holes could be made a bit smaller to prevent this.

I am going to be spending some time out in the open this week and wanted something to create a shady bed for my pup. This lightweight foldable pop-up create will be perfect although if it is going to be as hot as forecast I will also drape a reflective blanket over it.I have docked one star because mine (medium size) does not have the zippable roof window" which would make it easier to place a cat inside.I do not yet know how substantial it will be if he really wanted to get out but will no doubt find out and will come back and update review accordingly.There is a diagram on how to fold it back up sewn into the top of the storage bag, this is actually easier to use than the video which skips over one important step quite quickly. After you have folded the crate into a flat piece, then folded in half and are holding the two quarters up in your hand, put some weight on the still flat bottom piece and tuck the bottom/outside edge of the folded quarters in and underneath towards the centre as if you are folding it into eighths, then manouvre into circles. This helps get the crate into small enough circles to fit back in the bag.
