I lucked out and got one of these in the resale section, and the radio was in pristine condition (the box had seen better days). This is the perfect replacement for an old AIWA table radio that kept my dogs company while I was at work for decades. If I'm not mistaken, the case is actual wood. If it's not wood, it's the best facsimile I've ever seen. The AM signal is very strong, as I was hoping it would be. Radio reception is oddly spotty in my house, but I had no trouble dialing in stations. The sound is quite pleasant and voices have just the right amount of bass. Remember when stereos went from wood cases to plastic and the sound became thin and weak? Same with clock radios and table radios. This one harkens back to the one my mom had on top of her refrigerator when I was a kid. Very pleased with this purchase. And as a bargain hunter, I'll admit this would have been worth full price. Very nice, respectable looking radio.

Love this little clock, radio, bluetooth speaker! Sound is pretty good for a mono speaker. Wood case is retro and looks great in our guest cabin. Easy to connect to your phone or iPad. Great price!

This little radio seems to be well made. The controls were easy enough to figure out without the need to read the instructions. The FM tuner seems to work well and with the digital display it’s easy to find stations. Bluetooth connects easily and I like that the tuning knob on the right side allows you to skip forward or backward through your playlist.Sound quality is on par with a Bluetooth speaker this size and price, but I wasn’t expecting to be blown away.I purchased this to use at the shore house in Wildwood to replace a very old CD boombox that just can’t seem to pull in those FM stations anymore. The added bonus of Bluetooth connectivity makes it a great buy. I’m looking forward to putting this little retro-looking unit on the shelf in the laundry shed where it will fit in perfectly with the nostalgic feel of the rest of the 100-year-old house!

Perfect size. Excellent sound quality. Many features. Easy to understand operating instructions. Solid construction. Lightweight yet heavier than it looks. Arrived the day they said it would. Very pleased. I have ordered a second one for another room.

Picks up stations well and sounds good. Not a Bose but not the cost either.

This is a nice radio with great Am/Fm reception, but it should not be listed as a clock radio since it does not have an alarm function. Yes, it has a clock but should not be marketed as a clock radio.

Nice radio for the price

This is a compact and handsome radio with excellent FM radio reception and clear digital read-out. The only annoyance is that the on-off function requires holding down a certain switch on the radio face for several seconds, as opposed to simply turning the volume knob to the left to switch off. Steady pressure must be applied at an exact point. Not sure what the designers were thinking.
