Needs user modification
1. The main problem with this case is an internal compartment that is closed by a metal zip. This zip rests against your precious laptop when the case is closed. If the case gets a bump the zip will leave a mark on the laptop. I cut the whole zipper out with a pair of scissors.2. Unlike most bags this is carried upside down such that the weight of the laptop is carried by the main zip. The zip is sturdy so no a problem but if you forget to zip the bag closed properly the laptop (and anything else) could fall out.3. There is no shoulder strap.4. The quality of the materials is OK.5. The internal dimensions are 39cm x 38cm.6. There is elasticated webbing at the hinges to stop the case flopping open. This is useful if you want to keep the laptop in the case whilst it is open - the case half is held against the open laptop lid by the webbing.

Way too big for 15.6" laptop
I purchased the 15.6" case for a 15.6" laptop. The case is waaaay too big for the laptop. There are 5cm gaps on vertical and horizontal directions. It is not safe for my laptop as it allows it to freely move inside the case. If I had a larger laptop that bag would be fine. It seems sturdy and well manufacturered, although quite bulky. I purchased two cases and this one is significant more thick due to the pattern (pattern only exists on one side btw).
