Make stuff fancy!
Very cool machine with a few small issues. The issues, though, do not affect the end product. The unit itself has a good solid feel and a bit of weight to it. It was easy to set up. The dial on top varies the amount of air that it puts out through the aeartor cylindars and that determines the size of the bubbles in the foam. The aerators are very easy to clean. We made espresso martinis and topped them with an espresso foam. Which can be seen in the first picture as the darker foam. Delicious! The density and staying power of the foam seems to be dependant upon how much soy lecithin we added. The unit does not come with any lecithin or any other stabilizer. You are on your own for that. While we only used it for a cold foam, I believe it will work just fine for a hot foam.I have two constructive criticisms for this. The first is the lack of an on/off switch. It turns on and off by plugging or unplugging the unit. Not cool. The second is the cheap tubing that comes with the unit. See picture two. Again, it does not affect the outcome but it just looks like a hack job. For nearly $75, I would expect something with a bit more professional thought put into it.While it delivers a fun product, and I was able to channel a fancy professional mixologist, I feel like the item may be priced a bit on the high side.

Great for Cocktails, No Frills
This is a no frills version of a foam generator that definitely gets the job done. It has variable control through the use of one knob, and includes a Y-splitter.The unit gets three stars from me because nothing about it feels high-end or like it is made to last for a long period of usage. It seems to be a rebranded generic item (the branding is literally a circular sticker with basic text). It comes in an unbranded brown box, which again, lends to its budget-y feel. This would be a good purchase for someone who makes the occasional cocktail or recipe that calls for foam - but if you plan to use foam regularly or in any sort of presentation I would opt for something with a bit more pizazz.
