in one of the reviews, it says it caused the pipes to leak anyone have this problem? I dont need a mess or large bill. thanks

I just used tonight for the 1st time and it causing leaking from pipes down into the 1st level of the house. Never had a issue with the tub before and 11min My wife went get something the kitchen and the ceiling was all wet, water dripping down the light fixture. 45min the drywall seams in the ceiling all crack and bubbles out. I really wish I would have gone through the reviews!

Should I keep using this if I am halfway through my third bottle and have used this each time consecutively? Brown-green sludge comes out each time.

I realize this is an old question but I’m responding for others who may need the info now. I used five rounds of the cleaner (so one full bottle plus 1/4 of a second.) For the last couple rounds, I filled the tub and added the Oh Yuk and let it sit for an hour or two before even running the jets (I have an air jet tub). It seemed to help. I also noticed on the company website (after I finally got my tub cleaned out) they recommend the following approach for really stubborn ones: Fill above jets, add product, run jets for 30 minutes. Do not drain. Let it sit overnight, add another 4 Oz of product and run for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.

Will it work on my air jetted jacuzzi tub?

The bottle says jetted bathtub cleaner. There is no other equipment noted on the bottle. A website for the manufacturer is on the bottle: www.ScientificBiofilmSolutions.com. These directions say add to water, run 15 minutes then spray off and wipe off black ring. So no need to refill tub up to top and rinse out the jets?

I always let the cleaner circulate for 15-30 minutes, then drain and clean the ring around the tub . Fill again with cold water and let it run for 15-30 minutes, it usually clears out even more scunge. Wipe the tube down again and depending on how dirty you think the jets are, run another cycle cleaner/water and fresh water to rinse jets again. This product really does work. If your tub was like mine, you may have to run it through and rinse several times to get it clean.

Best product ever!!!!

WOW!!! This stuff is amazing!!! I never use the jets in my tub. Never ever. But you still have to clean them out. I have used many different options both chemicals and natural options, but seriously this stuff truly worked miracles. I did take it one step further and and used a toothbrush and scrubbed out all the jets and rinsed them out and refilled the tub and ran the jets with fresh water and removed even more debris. Not nearly the amount than the first time, but it is now sparkling clean. Love this product! Unfortunately I didn’t take photos!!!!

Great stuff to get rid of the gook

We used this stuff at the property Management company that I used to work for. It works incredibly well, some of the gook that came out of the vacation rental property jet tubs was disgusting. I purchased this bottle for our jet tub at home and it works great, you can see all of the gook come out of the Jets. The big bottle is definitely a better value, and it's incredibly easy to use just fill the tub and pour in the recommended amount and run the Jets. So glad this exists, so easy to clean our jet tub now.

Decent Product

This product worked OK. Easy to use, no fowl smell. I normally use bleach & vinegar and the smell is noxious. There is a good bit of foam but it didn't run over. I was concerned it would because it foamed up quickly but it didn't. Only requires 4 oz per cleaning. So it is a good value for my money.

Works great!

Worked amazing! There was no leaking of the bottle at all! Definitely worth what you pay for it! The smell was actually nice and clean! The foam wasn’t as much as I anticipated, which was great because I was concerned about overflow from the foam. However it was very durable and lasted as long as I let the jets run! and left my bathtub sparkling clean!

Works as described. Fresh scent but do use gloves. Cleans jetted tubs well with a rather gross foaming action! With a final rinse and spray clean-it sparkles. Packaging is sufficient-Did not leak. One bottle lasted 3 months (1x per month avg.)
