I purchased this to display my collection of building bricks (Legos.) We have cats and I do not want them to play with them. Also this is a good way to keep fur from getting on them. Assembly of the cabinet is straightforward if we follow the instructions. As the manufacturer stated the hinges are strong and adjustable which is great.I like the lighting, we can adjust the color and brightness. It is great that the lights turn on as we walk near the room. There is a nice ambiance as I go to the desk in my home office. So far I do not have any complaints. The box will be bulky when it arrives so I suggest having a helper available.Initially, there were some gaps between the doors but I got them taken care of with screw adjustments on the hinges. Tighten the middle screw on the hinge to close the gap. Please do not attempt to operate the hinge before installing it on the cabinet and door. It is not easy to open them manually, once installed they work quite smoothly.

This was one of the easiest pieces of furniture I have ever put together. Unlike most mail-order stuff the parts were well marked and the instructions were simple. It is also well constructed and very solid. Fit and finish was perfect. I have been victim to many shoddy peices of crap buying stuff like this in the past and I was reluctant to buy it because of this but I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend this to anyone. It is also beautiful with the blue light on. The system has three different settings. Blue, white, and a combination of both. It also has a sensor to where you can set it to only come on as someone walks by it which is super cool. 10 out of 10. You can't go wrong.

Bought this for my small apartment to display some figures and a few books. The LED lights are a nice touch, especially at night. They switch on when you get close, which is pretty neat. The shelves are ajustable (which was important for me), and the whole thing feels stable once put together.Assembly took a little time (around 1.5 hrs for me), and the instructions were clear enuf. One of the door hinges needed a slight ajustment, but that was easy to fix. Overall, happy with it – not super fancy, but does the job and looks good in the corner of my living room.

The fake glass scratches by looking at it. Cleaning the piece up after assembly with a micro fiber towel and now there are scratches up and down both doors that dont go away. Dont purchase, consider yourself warned.

Have purchased two of these. They seem to go together well and look nice, although a few comments: These do NOT have glass. They seem to be plexiglass, and both of these that I've gotten have scratches all over the plexiglass that light up when the lights are on. Also, the plexiglass is a smoky tinted color, not perfectly clear as in the product images on amazon.
