Spicy garlic flavor is amazing!
So the spicy garlic flavor was really good! It doesn’t contain any shrimp so the smell was just vegetal and eggy. It also comes with a separate spice packet so you can adjust the heat level yourself. I just tossed the whole thing in and I don’t find it overwhelming at all.I’d never had dried eggs before and I can honestly say the pieces absorbed water really well and had a nice almost spongelike texture. What really stands out are the large pieces of fried garlic! They have a very intense flavor when dry which mellows slightly after cooking. The remainder of the veggies are pretty much what you would think…chewy at first but soften when cooked a bit longer. The bag is pretty good sized and I could definitely see using it for more than just ramen. Overall it struck me as pricey at first but when I saw how far it goes I really saw the value.Definitely recommended!

Lovely flavor
I also tried another brand of dried ingredients, but I think this one is even better--worth an extra star if it was possible. A couple of pinches of this, along with a couple of pinches of dried seaweed give my ramen noodle dishes some wonderful richness and flavor like you wouldn't believe. I've added, salmon, left-over chicken, and even left over tuna from sushi to the pot, and between the spice and the Ramen Bae blend, you get a really enjoyable pot of food. I don't believe in frat boy noodles in a cup. Use your imagination, add some spice powder if you have it, and a couple of pinches of this vegetable blend. You'd be surprised at the meal you get out of it.

Lots of Textures
This seafood mix has a lot of different textures in it! If you are texture sensitive, I would recommend double checking the ingredients before purchasing.

Great addition to any instant ramen!
I don't understand some of the negative reviews that said it smelled fishy! It's dried vegetables with dried fish, dried crab, dried shrimp!! LOL what do you expect!! Some people will buy fermented crab paste and complain of the smell. Lol. I personally thought it was delicious!. Just make sure you soak it in hot water for at least 3 minutes before adding it to the Ramen. Best way to insure correct texture. I use Sapporo Ichiban Ramen. Best Japanese brand, but I've even added it to some Maruchan ramen and it upped the game! I recommend it. For use with instant ramen, it is a good as you are going to get outside a good Japanese restaurant. Did I mention I am a former N.Y. Chef? ;)

Absolutely fantastic!
My roommate and I eat a TON of Buldak Ramen. I've always put dehydrated "Asian" veggies in my mix. It honestly didn't make much a difference. I think using them just became habit. A couple of weeks ago I was bombarded with ads for this topping mix. I got super excited and started watching reviews. People seemed to love it. So i ended up buying Spicy Garlic. It arrived the next day.The smell hits you right in the face in the best way possible. The pieces are HUGE! The quality is honestly beyond what I was expecting. I believe the nutrients to be as high as they were before dehydration. My ramen has never tasted so complex before. You can truly taste each individual piece. It made my extremely tasty buldak taste out of this world. I'm going to try it with the cheap ramen all of us Americans grew up on. I have a feeling it will class them up. I can't believe how easy it it was to change up the flavor profile. Was it expensive? Eh, kinda. But then again you can easily use less than what is recommended and still get great flavor. I easily got away with using 2 spoon fulls. (I made two packs). Obviously instructions aren't necessary, use what you feel is enough. Thus stretching out the amount of product you have. I just put the kimchi blend in my cart. I'm so excited! I wish I liked fish. I always wanted to try those cute little fish cakes from Naruto.I cannot recommend this enough.

Good product but not for all ramen
I like to start out by saying I eat a lot of ramen I enjoy it it's quick it's easy it's relatively tasty I've been seeing this stuff everywhere for a while now and was really excited to try it the only real problem I have with it is when you see it in the commercials and stuff they're putting it in like everything that is ramen but it doesn't go with everything if you have an exotic flavor like the soy flavored ones or spicy miso or something like that it goes well with it if you have something that's a fishy one like the shrimp ones or the seafood ones it goes well with that it does not go well with your chicken of any type or pork or beef so if you got this and you plan on using it with all your ramen you're going to be disappointed but if you want to add a little texture and a little extra flavor to your different ramens that are not beef pork chicken then it's good it's a little pricey but not too bad use a lot less than you think you're going to it expands quite a bit a little goes a long way I wish you came with a scoop overall good product for certain ramen just not for all ramen just not for everything oh and as a side note this is really good to put like in just some rice or something too with a little soy sauce or something just throw that out there or like an Asian scramble strangely works

A nice Ramen add-in
These work well in just about any ramen you purchase. They hydrate quickly and make it simple to add veggies when you don't have any fresh ones on hand. There are some rather odd pieces in the bag - yellow in color, and when cooked, it resembles scrambled egg. Definitely not a veggie. I also like that the chili flakes are in a separate pouch, so you can customize the level of heat.
