HEADLIGHT BULB SOCKET IF NOT THE SAME AS OEM.
The headlights look good but quality is 7/10 and they require H7 type headlight bulbs and 1156 side marker light bulbs. This headlight set does not have the auto-leveling feature on some E39 vehicles. I wish they kept the side marker dome cover to keep as close to OEM as possible.

Best e39 headlights for the price
The media could not be loaded. These are actually great! They look very close to the OEM euro style face lift lamps, only difference is the corner reflector is chrome instead of clear and the parking lights fit is a little off unless you use the included adapters, wire the angel eyes to the parking lights for pre facelift models. I used 55w H7 LED kit for the low beams and light output is far brighter than factory HID and pattern is great, high beams require 9006 to H7 adapter. Used on a 2000 528iT. Definitely a great deal for the price.Sorry for no pic of the angel eyes… if you want to put in custom rings the lights come apart easily.

Doesn't fit to E39 BMW 525I, You need to purchase separate bulbs in order to fit for this products, the problem is where can you find those after market bulbs where almost bulbs they sell will fit to OEM Hella brand
