First Thing This Does is Connect to A Server in Communist China
The first thing that this device does is attempt to connect to a server in China. All things considered, it's difficult to understand why it's doing that and wondering if data saved to the device would be accessible by the Peoples "Republic of China". The problem is that once you have connected it, it's probably inappropriate to return it for a refund since it may have your data on it. Should have noticed the name of idiskk with two k's to make one think at first that it's an idisk product when it's not. That sounds really suspicious.

Maybe the iPhone cover is keeping this device from working?
I returned this, thinking it was bad. So, I returned it. Later, I bought another kind. It didn't work either. But, I came to find out that the iPhone cover was keeping it from working/connecting. So, if you have troubles, try removing your iPhone cover and see if it works. ... To fix my issue, I purchased a small USB cable to connect the USB disk to my iPhone.

So important to have one of these
I am a big advocate for backing up the pictures from your phone. Yes, we do have Google photos and iCloud. But if you take a lot of pictures, do you really want to be reliant on the cloud? Imagine having to download thousands of pictures from the cloud or if the cloud is ever hacked. This is a great way to have a copy at your fingertips at all times. It works for iPhones and androids as well as being a thumb drive for your computer. It’s a much faster way to transfer photos than the traditional way of plugging in your phone cord to the laptop. I recommend this to everybody.
