GREAT PRODUCT AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
I am very happy with my purchase. This hardware was super easy to install, except when I got halfway through the assembly and realized that the bolts were to long to attach the hangers to the door. MY FAULT COMPLETELY! I totally misread the depth...ugghhh. I have no idea how I did that, but I really liked the door (and already drilled holes), so I contacted the seller and I received a response right away. Not only did I get a quick response, the seller sent out new bolts right away. How great is that?? Seriously, that is customer service!! I am ready to hang my barn door this weekend and I can't wait. This is well made hardware...it is solid and looks it. Also, the price is so much better than others online. I would definitely buy this product again, I would 100% recommend to a friend, and I highly recommend this seller!!

Strong and Simple to Install
I was amazed at how seamlessly this worked. We first installed a board to go behind the track, as we did not want to overly strain our weak drywall and as our bathroom walls apparently have less studs than they ought to. Following the provided directions was easy enough, and the only edit we had to do was a result of our decision to make the track level with our wonky doorframe rather than actually level. It wanted to stay open, but once we levelled it true, it easily glided either open or closed and would stay till we moved it. No loud noise, just quietly glides open or closed. Bumpers guard the end of the track and make the closing quiet too. We love it!

Read tips to make it easier.
Overall, the quality of this item is great and it was packaged really well to prevent shipping damage.I bought the 5ft kit which came with two sections of rail that had to be joined together.Tips:1. When joining the rail sections make sure to have the joining bracket facing down when you are mounting otherwise the rollers will get stuck on it. This should be stressed in the instructions but it is not.2. Most likely you will have to drill additional holes to line up with your studs in the wall. Must use METAL drill bits and you will need a 1/2 drill to make it easier and quicker. Remember safety glasses.3. Use black sharpie marker to hide any marks from drill, if need be.4. Best to have two people to mount rail, one person to hold while the other fastens rail. If alone use a long piece of wood to hold up other end while you fasten to wall.5. Make sure not to forget the large spacers behind the mounting holes, wide end of spacer goes against the wall.6. Two foot level worked great for install to make sure rail was level.Overall, I am happy with purchase. I do need to ask seller for three more black plugs to fill extra holes in rail that are not used.

Pro's recommendations.
I recommend that you build a header, the drywall anchors provided are good but drywall will only support so much weight, causing most doors to sag somewhere. The pre-drilled holes 16" on center will rarely hit wood, this project hit wood twice over the door frame. I used a poplar 1X4 which measures 3/4 X 3 1/2 from a big box store, screwed into the studs in the wall. The spacers provided have a wide end on one side that is the side that should go against the wall. The instructions for hanging the rollers on the door are vague, the top hole is measurement is correct from the top of the door but the measurement for the bottom hole is from the center of the top hole not the door. Check or you will end up with 3 holes in the top of your door. My door is 2" thick so I went to a big box store and bought longer bolts and painted the heads black. The provided hardware had no problem supporting a larger door. Overall a good product.

I love these barn door hardware sets. I have bought 8 different ones. The last a long time, is a sturdy and strong set. The directions are easy to follow. Their customer service is awesome. One set was missing an item and they quickly sent me the item! Now that great customer service 🙂

Would buy this product again
Good instructions provided. Hardware was packaged very well. Assembly and installation was relatively easy, but did have to drill holes to match up with wall studs, but not a big deal. Overall assembly looks very good and is very sturdy, holding up a heavy door that slides easily and mates up well with the wall. Worked well keeping the rollers and rail below the ductwork that it slides under. The door I built was 1.25 inches thick, so had to cut off 1/2 inch length on the bolts attached to the door since they were too long (the picture shows wood spacers on the metal prior to cutting the bolts, so the picture is not quite the final installation). Door opening is 48 inches and trim on each side is 2.5 inches (1/2 inch thick), so made door 53 inches wide to cover trim when closed. Installed door hardware to allow rollers to go under nearby ductwork, then trimmed door height accordingly.
