Worked with 24TB Seagate Exos
Headline says up to 20TB.Worked fine with Seagate Exos ST24000NM000C 24TB 7.2K RPM SATA 6Gb/s 512e 3.5in Enterprise drive.Able to backup Synology NAS over USB3 to this enclosure with the 24TB drive.

Runs warm
Very modern and sleek design. I put a 24tb drive in it, and copied ~1.5tb at 350MB/s.The drive got pretty hot, I didn't measure the temp or anything but it felt hotter than it should be. That's my only gripe, otherwise a great product.

Works!
I was hesitant to buy this because of the lack of reviews. When I got it the packaging only said 3.5". But it does support 2.5" HDD as well.Haven't tried the USB C but that's a good add on. The cover is aluminum and cool. So far no issues!

This Case does not open.
1st review on 08/10/2024:Ease of Use:- The product has a slide button that you press and when following the instructions which I only found on the items amazon page said to press the button and push the other side for the tray to come out. The included instructions were of no use for this model on how to open it up.Quality:- product is strong, but seems like it would get scratched easier as it is only painted silver with no protected coating. I also have a small chip on the edge near the slide button.Performance:- I am unable to test this out since the tray will not open.This is the most expensive HDD case I have recently purchased and It is the most difficult to open. I expected better quality. I will be returning this item and do not recommend. There are other brands with better quality for cheaper.--------

Works as advertised...
I have a 20 TB drive which does work in this unit as advertised.Had an issue with the original unit that was sent to me however their customer support was quick and courteous and replaced the defective unit immediately.

New life to old external drives
Cracked open an old 3.0 USB SATA external drive and put the HDD in this shell. Much improved performance. Would recommend.

Best Hard Drive Enclosure
Saved me from buying an external hard drive when i had a 6TB hard drive laying around for my PS5 to store my Playstation 4 games n play them off there aswell without a problem the only issue is that the auto sleep on this drive can cause a corruption especially when the ps5 goes to sleep or is turned off inproperly so i suggest turning off the sleep function on the ps5 2 prevent ur data from being corrupted its fast to transfer between the 4TB SSD i have on my ps5 installed ps4 games that need better load times n objects dat load in slowly when using an HDD

Speed is 260 at max and not 550
The media could not be loaded. 3 star because writing or reading speed said 520/560 m but it's not ..I have fast enough pc and hard drive but I'm getting 250 mps half of what advertised..
