This is a little thicker than I would like, but it works really well for what we have used it for so far. I have two outlet strips that I have mounted on the backsplash in our kitchen. We don't use them heavily but so far they remain firmly mounted with plugging and unplugging devices. They have been mounted for a few months now without a problem. My neighbor used some to fix the carpet in his antique car so it didn't move around. He is very impressed with how well the carpet has stayed in place. I didn't expect it to work holding the carpet down in the car but it has done well for a couple of months. I haven't tried it on a painted surface, but I would be a little concerned about it removing wall paint even though the claim is it won't.

It's not often I leave a review, but I feel it's important to do it for the right products. I use double-sided tape of all kinds around the house, but I have to say that this one has by far been one of the best purchases I've made.This brand of double sided tape is highly versatile. It does a good job holding things up to the wall. I often use it for wire tuck jobs under desks and behind appliances. It's came through very clutch around Christmas too.I use it all the time, and 6 months later, I still have plenty left. I recommend everybody buy one of these and have them at the house. You'd be surprised how this double sided tape can come through in a pinch for you.

Bought this stuff to adhere kids art projects to the wall without using nails or tacks. I tiny little bit works wonders for this! Also great to get your tile-style photos refreshed and sticky again.My newest use of this was to use three long strips to adhere a small metal donation box with slit to the side of my house entryway for those that pick up stuff and bring cash when doing "contactless porch pickup". That little box isn't going anywhere!! AND I didn't even have to put a hole in the siding of the house!! I actually find it more secure than the single screw it came with to mount. I am sure I will find many more uses for this in the future.

This is not removable. A tiny piece immediately ripped a massive chunk of paint off my wall when I tried to gently remove it.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this “tape”. It has held up many items in my van : little box to hold matches and lighter by the stove, small decorative quilt, a small side panel that had come loose, etc…. Lots if uses.Also, I had to remove it once after several weeks- it was not easy to remove- I actually doubted if I would be successful- but with perseverance and a sharp scraper I was able to remove.

It says not to put on painted drywall but that’s the only places I’ve used this to hang canvas photos. So far, so good…
