Great quality does what it says
Have been using for two months and it works great. Comes on every other day when I scheduled it for. Super easy to set all settings, time, timer etc. No leaks either which I kind of expected. No needed bells and whistles!

A MUST for me!
This is working GREAT. I'm realizing that this is how I need to garden. The initial set-up, and various projects for the garden are easy for me. There's a set goal, and I am pretty focused on that until it's done. But a small job that I have to be consistent with for months, with the busyness of kids mixed in? That's incredibly hard for me. And then all that initial investment of time and money, blood, sweat, and tears, ends up being wasted, or just having minimal results. This timer plus soaker hoses and a 4-way splitter all cost under $100 for me to cover almost all my garden. I'll add more next year. This I my 3rd year gardening, and I went bigger than ever, and everything is THRIVING. Including me. I get to enjoy the garden without the stress. I can go weed, etc for probably on average like 15 minutes a day, but skipping many days, and I can keep up with it all pretty effortlessly!I cannot recommend getting this enough.

Very simple - easy to set-up
What a simple device to set-up and use. 2 days now, not a single problem. I find I can put 3 or 4 hoses on it with a 4 way manifold and water a ton of stuff at once. Buy this one with confidence. Follow up - 2 weeks and runs every day on time as programmed. Great, inexpensive buy.

Very easy to set.
Great Timer so far but after you set it you have to wait for it to star the next morning for all your settings to star working, this is no problem once you know this, I did several settings on mine and it started working the next morning. I set mine for every day, every 6 hours for 15 minutes. I set it to start at 7 am so it would water at 7 then at 1 pm then at 7 pm and finally at 1 am, I thought it would start at 1 pm they day I turned it on but it had to cycle till the next morning at 7am to start the sequence and every thing work as planed. I did have to straighten out one of the battery springs because it was not getting a good connection, works fine now, we will see how long it will last now.

Easy to use, plants live without remembering to water them!
I have four of these, one or two on each of my outdoor spigots, each hooked up with a "Y" so I can still use the spigot for other things, each one supplying water to a different set of plants around my house. I like this particular model --- or any of the ones that look just like it --- because they are inexpensive and easy to understand and use. Back when I had only one or two, I did leave them outside one winter and they did not work in the Spring, so take them inside and remove the batteries when you are approaching first frost and they will work the next year. (Mine did anyway.) You program them (with simple buttons) to water for a certain number of minutes, as often as you want ( every day or two or three) depending on how dry and hot the summer is. It just takes a minute to change to more or less time if conditions change. You can also push the button for "manual" and have it turn on immediately for however long you want, if you suddenly notice that you underestimated the water needs, everything is dry, and you need to give everything a little more water immediately. If you like taking vacations in the summer, and don't have some kind of automatic watering system to make sure everything is alive when you come back, I think you're missing out. I started out using a little pre-packaged system, just to water all the pots on the deck while I was gone years ago, and it worked so well that I expanded to the all the plants and gardening near the house. Setting up the tubing and the little water emitters is the time consuming part, but I do it once a year; I think the garden does better, with less time spent watering overall!

EASY PEASY!!!!! This one is BRILLIANT!
This is SO easy to understand, SO easy to change, SO easy to use AND so easy to read... there is literally NOTHING bad about this! Just put in a couple of AA batteries, take off the film from the LCD window (it shows it's 6:00) and then dial through each area on the master wheel - set the current time (easy peasy), set the time you want the hose/sprinkler to go on (easy peasy), set how long you want it to stay on (easy peasy), set how frequently you want it to do its thing (easy peasy), then turn it to auto, hook it up between your outside faucet (easy peasy) and your hose (easy peasy) and turn the water on. Finding my AA batteries took more time than setting this up!To test it out, just hit the "manual" button which will turn on the water for 10 minutes (although you can change that up - easy peasy) and you're done... AND you're happy.... AND your lawn/garden will be watered when you want it. It's just so easy peasy!!! I'm 77 and if I can do this with no problems, so can you! My life has just gotten SO much easier and my yard and garden are sure happy - it's a win/win!

One of my favorite Garden timers
This is a very simple timer. Easy to set and easy to read. The fittings are brass so in the California heat they don’t crack like the plastic ones. I have three of these : a one channel, a two channel and a three channel. All work very well. Runs on AA batteries that I replace once a year. They might last longer but I change them each Spring

Broken, internal leaking, great customer care from Orbit!
Broken in a month but with a good ending! 1 day past my return window the timer stopped working, I had kept it under cover and checked the hose fittings, no leaks, I opened up the battery case and pulled it out and green circuit board shavings were on the batteries, I looked inside and the circuit board is fried due to internal leakage, word of warning, check before you 30 days is up, even if it still works because 1 out of the 2 I ordered has internal leaking, on a positive note the Orbit customer support is great! Bridgette helped me get a new one sent to me at no charge, thanks Bridgette and thanks Orbit for your excellent customer care!
