Worth the effort
Oh. My. God.This is the best thing I’ve ever put on my body, and I’ve tried a LOT of corsets/shapewear.I had ordered a XS and S to try both and return whichever didn’t fit. I measured size XS but the comments convinced me to try the S too.Couple of pointers: line up the horizontal line on the corset with your natural waist. I have a really low natural waist and I made the mistake of following the photos and putting the corset on right under my bra line, which put the waist way too high on me. I also bought some double faced satin ribbon to make the lacing on the corset longer because I have broad shoulders and I got stuck the first time I tried to take it off (most terrifying 20 minutes of my life). Since I’d bought the XS and S, I can attest DO NOT SIZE UP. I could get the S on and off easily, but that meant it didn’t cinch me very much even when tightened all the way, and also the boning was in the wrong places. You’ll also need a buddy or a mirror. I tightened it as much as I could by pulling on the strings and then worked my way from the top to the middle then the bottom to the middle to make things even so I could pull again. The ribbon glides very smoothly and is easy to tighten compared to a lot of corsets I’ve tried. It’s also the most comfortable/breathable one I’ve used while providing some of the most dramatic shaping. In summary, if you want this corset to do the most it can for you, you’ll need to give it a lil bit of love and patience. But even despite that, the shaping and comfort is so good it’s still a 5 star

Best corset I’ve ever worn!!
I am COMPLETELY IN LOVE with this corset!! For background, I am an experienced corset maker and wearer. I’ve done historic recreation in period costume & full historic corsetry for years, including performing historic dance & doing stage shows as an old west saloon singer. I also like to wear modern corsets under my clothes in my normal life, as I’m an apple shape woman with basically no waist (I’m a 38FF, so my bust is 46”, and my underbust & waist are both 38” & hips are 42”, so boobs aside I have no figure.)This corset is so lightweight & comfortable, you barely know you have it on! I typically never wear corsets against my skin, but always with a thin tank or tshirt under it for comfort, but this one works with or without that. It weighs half of what my other mesh underbust corsets weigh, yet I’m able to achieve the same waist reduction (4-6”, depending how tight I pull). It’s a little harder to get into & out of because there’s no front-opening busk, but that makes it more flexible so I’m able to bend & move much more naturally. Also the stretch in the mesh fabric means it hugs my body better that the top & bottom, so there’s not a hard corset edge there that is sometimes visible under clothes when you bend, sit, etc.I love that it is higher in the back than the front at the top edge, which really helps smooth bra lines / back fat. Also great because I’m not having the problem of it pushing up on my bra’s underwire when I sit, which I have with my other underbust corsets.I love it so much I plan to get a 2nd so I can have two to alternate if I want to wear it daily. My only concern is how it will hold up over time as it is lightweight, but so far so good! Also huge bonus points for it being laced correctly when I opened the package, with Xs!!!!

Good Corset, Beware of size
Great corset! Really beautiful with good support. Hard to put on and take off alone. One problem is that it was so tall you could see it out of the top of the back of my wedding dress :(

It works- but it’s not great
I will say that this makes my waist TINY. I bought a second corset in a size smaller than recommended after buying the recommended size. However, This does NOT feel steel boned at all, it conforms to your curves and bows out on the top making the top look a little wider rather than holding it in. I wouldn’t say it’s really worth the price, it’s not much different than the cheaper ones.

BEST PURCHASE
Wasn't sure about this but what a great purchase. Made well, extremely comfortable and esy to put on. I chose to step into it, slide it up, start to tighten with laces in the front, then move them to back, finish tightening and tie. I fond that putting bra on after corset was easier to cover top of corset with bra. Didnt show at all under my dress which was beaded. I had an hour drive to get to event, and as it down dinner. Shockingly this corset was extremely comfortable, didnt pinch or roll. I loved so much, I ordered a second one in another color. This purchase was a win win

Nope
This isn't a corset. It's flimsy. It doesn't have the opening in the front, and it's a pain in the butt to get on and off yourself. If I weren't hypermobile, I wouldn't be able to get out of it. On top of that, I followed the size chart, but I was unable to cinch it in a way that laid flat. There was a bulge in the back where my excess skin kept it from cinching. I lost a good 40lbs and that's part of the reason I was looking at a corset so I could hide the extra skin. The only reason this didn't get 1 star is because it's surprisingly stitched well, but it's just not a corset. It's like a neoprene waist trainer without the neoprene and it has the corset ribbon in the back. Also it's definitely not worth over $20 accounting for the inflation we're experiencing. Non-inflation pricing shouldn't put this at more than $15.

NOT Steel Boned - Weak Shaping
I wanted a mesh corset base for a sewing project because they’re a pain to make yourself, and I was excited for one with any kind of metal boning, but though the description says it’s steel boned, it’s absolutely plastic. The good news (and why I’m giving it four stars anyways) is that it still supports and shapes my already hourglass figure how I wanted, but that’s because the shape is made for an hourglass anyways. Plastic bones just will not shape your body like steel ones because they aren’t strong enough and will buckle easily, so if you’re having trouble with the shaping, THAT IS WHY. If you want some light support and smoothing, this will do the trick. If you want serious shaping, find something with actual steel bones.
