I’ve been using this powder for 2+ years now for PCOS and while it’s not an instant/cure all, it definitely makes a difference! I take two scoops per day, one in my coffee in the morning and the other before bed. It’s got a slight sweetness but no flavor. If you’re looking for an inositol powder that’s easy to digest and help with PCOS, ovulation, etc. I would definitely recommend!

I’ve been using Ovasitol consistently and have noticed a real difference. It mixes easily with water and has no taste, which makes it super easy to take daily. I feel like it’s helping with my energy, mood, and overall hormone balance. It does take time, but I can tell it’s making a positive impact. 2/6/23: I started taking ovasitol 2 days ago at the recommended dose of 4000mg daily. My PCOS symptoms have been getting worse recently and I wanted to give this a try since I’m doing everything the same as what worked in the past for PCOS that my doctor had prescribed with the exception of taking metformin (I moved and have to find a new provider who actually knows how to treat PCOS so I don’t have access to it right now and was hoping this would help in a similar fashion).I had a mild headache after my first dose but it subsided after a few hours. The next morning I woke up with a rash on my chest and neck. It wasn’t itchy, but I had a bunch of tiny red bumps that were uncomfortable to touch and gradually worsened throughout the day. I took the same dosage that second day because none of the research I had done mentioned a rash being a side effect but by the evening it had gotten worse and I ended up taking some Benadryl before bed because I was still trying to determine the cause of the rash. Adding ovasitol is the only change I can think of. It’s been about 20 hours since my last dose and the rash is clearing up (the attached photo is from about 12 hours after the last dose).After researching side effects even more I found some others also broke out with a rash. Some were able to lower the dosage and gradually build it up or just kept going on the normal dose and it eventually cleared up while for other people the rash continued to get worse until they stopped taking it. I’m really bummed that I had this reaction because it seems many people with PCOS have had really good responses to inositols. I’m still debating if I want to attempt to take a lower dose to see if it helps and risk the rash flaring up again once it finally subsides completely.Update 6/25/23: The rash took about a week to subside. And after a month or two I decided to give it another try but start with a very small dose and see if I can work my way up. I started taking 1/16 tsp once a day and gradually was able to work up to the full recommended dose without any more rash issues. I did notice mild to moderate headaches the days that I increased the dosage, but they subsided after a day or 2 until the dosage increased again. I’ve been taking the full dosage for a few months now without any rash and no more headaches. My periods which have been irregular for as long as I can remember regulated within a month so it definitely seems to be doing something positive. I’m ordering more. So if anyone has a bad reaction initially, try to start with a small dosage and gradually increase. Wish it stated this on the packaging.Update 8/13/25: I have been taking this for 2 years now without any further issues. It has made a huge difference helping me to regulate my period and has seemed to help with other PCOS related symptoms as well. It is completely tasteless and dissolves well in hot or cold drinks. I have recommended this to several friends dealing with similar issues and they have had good results as well. If you’re on the fence, it is worth a try.

My doctor recommended this supplement and I do feel like it supports my hormones and ovulation. Tastes slightly sweet if mixed with only water but is easy to mix into any kind of drink hot or cold. I enjoy it in coffee.

Amazing product! My husband and I spent over a year trying to get pregnant. After 1 1/2 months of using this product we got pregnant with our son. My son is now 17 months and I still had not had a menstrual cycle. After 1 week of using this product I got my period! No flavor, smell, and easy to swallow. I can’t even tell it’s mixed in a drink.

I’ve been diagnosed with pcos since I was 17/18, I’m currently 26. I’ve purchased the mini packets twice so far. I’ve been consistent, taking it twice a day (once in the morning, once at night). It’s perfect if you are always on the go and don’t want to carry a jar around. It has a slight sweet taste. The powder mixed well with any liquid you pick to mix it in. I usually just used water. Sometimes I used orange juice or a smoothie and it didn’t alter the taste.I can say after giving this product a 6 month trial, I can say I don’t believe it did anything good for me. My routine before starting this supplement didn’t change. Everything stayed the same due to many drs (I’ve seen 3 specialists in the US, 1 in Mexico) recommending this product and saying it will help me. So I wanted to see if the product could help. Before I started this supplement, I was 30-31 days in between cycles. I only had one or two pimples on my chin during my cycle, the rest of the month my skin was fine. My hair loss was normal and not excessive. My symptoms after starting this product, I’ve experienced my period coming 48-51 days in between cycles. I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 5 years now, so obviously having irregular periods after finally regulating them was a huge concern due to my body not ovulating when it should. Following with more break outs. My skin feels horrible. I’ve had the same skin care routine and everyday I’m waking up to new acne in areas I didn’t have acne before. I also have more hair loss than normal. I literally pull chunks of hair out when I shower. I didn’t change anything about my hair routine. I used the same products before starting this supplement and yet, I’m shedding like crazy.I’ve experienced a lot of symptoms after starting this product. Many weren’t so great. This next symptom was the final straw for me. Many of us who are diagnosed with pcos struggle with weight. If you are struggling with weight, before I started this supplement I was 160. I currently weigh 180. That’s a 20 pound difference. My diet is a clean diet. Many fruits, veggies, nuts, and a high protein diet. I don’t drink soda. I don’t eat out. I have maybe 1 cheat meal a week but I usually try to make it a balanced cheat meal. I work out 5-6 times a week. I walk for 30-45 mins a day. Some days I also cycle 30-45 mins, along with the walk. I hit over 10k steps a day. I have a very active job, where I am lifting and constantly moving my body. I believe this product has played a part in the cause of gaining weight and not being able to lose weight because like I stated in the paragraph above, my routine did not change. It was easy for me to drop weight before starting this product and for the past couple months, I’ve been struggling to even lose a pound.Every person is different. Everyone’s body will not react to this product the way mine did. I really wanted to like this product because it was highly recommended but I will not be repurchasing and will try to find another route. I hope you give this product a try the same way I did to see if your body will react positively to it. It’s unfortunate that this product did more harm to me but I hope someone struggling with pcos can benefit from this product.
